The Mixing Station is an in-game furniture item for combining product with ingredients. The item database lists the basic station for $500 at Hoodlum V, but a GameSpot guide published April 18, 2025, gives a different unlock route: Hoodlum 1 or starting the Mixing Mania questline. Check the requirement shown in your current game, since these sources conflict and progression can change between versions.
Where to find and unlock the Mixing Station
Look for the Mixing Station in the game’s furniture listings. Schedule1.io’s item database lists it for $500 and shows Hoodlum V as its progression requirement. The database entry does not name a vendor in the available listing.
GameSpot’s April 18, 2025 guide instead says the station unlocks at Hoodlum 1 or when you begin the Mixing Mania questline, and describes buying a $500 Mixing Table at Dan’s Hardware. Because the unlock information differs, use the rank or quest prompt displayed in your current save as the practical guide; don’t assume either source’s threshold applies to every game version.
How to make your first mix
- Get a product and an ingredient. Acquire or grow the product you want to use and obtain a mixing ingredient in-game.
- Load the station. Place one product and one ingredient in the Mixing Station.
- Check the displayed result. Prima Games says an undiscovered blend can appear as “???” until you mix it once.
- Mix and collect. Start the mix, then retrieve the resulting product.
Prima Games recommends keeping product intended for mixing accessible and unbagged rather than packaging it first; a nearby large storage rack can help keep it on hand. The station’s database description is: “Used to mix product with ingredients to create unique new products.”

The Mk2’s listed automation and faster mixing can be useful for repeat production, while the basic station is the lower-cost option.
Can workers automate mixing?
Prima Games describes a setup in which a handler supplies ingredients from nearby storage and a chemist operates the station. Its guide also discusses routing output to storage and arranging stations in sequence for recipes that require multiple steps. Treat this as one documented approach rather than a guaranteed layout for every property or version: check the active game’s worker and station behavior before building around it.
