Plates that do not lie flush
Check for a brick trapped underneath, a plate shifted by one stud, or a connector attached to the wrong layer. A plate should be supported by the surfaces shown in the instruction; pressing harder can bow parts or make the eventual correction harder. Lift the affected subsection, remove the obstruction, and reseat the plate while matching the visible-stud pattern.
Colors or shapes that are hard to distinguish

Why won’t the Open or Power button move?
Both the Open and Power buttons are intended movable features of the official model. If either button sticks, compare its complete assembly and the surfaces immediately around it with the official step, then stop if movement requires force.

- Identify the exact button that is binding and note whether it is misaligned, pressed too deeply, or blocked by a neighboring brick.
