Before the season, Epic’s “Remix: The Prelude” announcement described a Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice performance in Times Square, streamed live in Fortnite. The season then concluded with Remix: The Finale, a tribute-focused in-game event. Epic’s announcement included a statement from Juice WRLD’s mother, Carmela Wallace, about how Jarad Higgins valued Fortnite as a way to connect with others.

The Boogie Bomb update played Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot.” Epic also highlighted Motorboats as available vehicles and said Choppas would return later in the season.
Vehicles and cosmetics were part of the season’s presentation, too. Epic described an in-game 1966 Cadillac DeVille with hydraulics, music-reactive bouncing and a jump ability, as well as a Snoop Dogg-themed Cadillac bundle. Those were descriptions of Fortnite content, not claims about the features of real-world Cadillac vehicles.

What was in the 2024 Remix Pass?
Epic advertised the limited-time Remix Pass at 950 V-Bucks, with more than 70 in-game rewards and a four-week progression window. Players could earn XP in Battle Royale, creator-made islands, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing and Fortnite Festival. Epic said progression could award up to 1,000 V-Bucks. Named outfits included Chaos Director, 1-Ball, Undercover Skye, Meowdas and Dynamo TNTina. These figures and offers describe the 2024 pass; they do not mean it can still be purchased or earned.
What were Fortnite Kicks?
Kicks were a new shoe-type cosmetic announced for Fortnite, with Nike, Jordan and Fortnite-original designs in the initial lineup. Epic said Kicks would initially work with over 500 popular outfits and projected compatibility with more than 95% of outfits by spring 2025. That percentage was a projection in the 2024 announcement, not a verified current compatibility count.

Epic’s November 12, 2024 update revised the launch plan: Kicks were no longer scheduled for version 32.10. Players could still unlock AJ1 Black Toe Reimagined in the Remix Pass, but could not equip them until a new release date. The announced Nike and Jordan designs were digital cosmetics; the announcement does not establish a physical shoe release.

Epic’s season-specific Support-A-Creator notice said enrolled creators could monetize qualifying Chapter 2 Remix gameplay and event VODs, as well as trailer and clip content on YouTube, for seven days after initial release. The notice included content exclusions and account-linking requirements. Epic also warned that Twitch VODs or clips could still be flagged by third-party copyright detection and advised creators to check platform policies. This historical, time-limited notice is not blanket permission to use Fortnite music today.
