Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, Showdown, began on March 19, 2026, with a major refresh to the Battle Royale loot pool. Epic highlighted the Vector 7 DMR, Ice King’s Gauntlets and Chaos Reloader Shotgun as new loot, but it also changed the pool during the season. The available sources do not establish a complete official final-day inventory, so the lists below are best read as launch and early-season reporting—not a definitive roster for every date of Showdown.

What changed in the Showdown loot pool?

Epic described the Season 2 weapon pool as “almost entirely refreshed” from Season 1 in its March 19, 2026 Showdown announcement. It specifically named the Vector 7 DMR, Ice King’s Gauntlets and Chaos Reloader Shotgun as featured new loot. The same overview also called out the Overdrive Grenade and Skyline Deployer as traversal items.

That announcement establishes the season’s identity and featured items, but not an exhaustive list of everything available at launch. A broader launch/early-season roundup from Insider Gaming reports the following new or featured items:

  • Vector 7 DMR
  • Chaos Reloader Shotgun
  • Bouncing Boomstick
  • Overdrive Grenade
  • Skyline Deployer
  • Ice King’s Gauntlets
  • The Foundation’s Rift Rifle
  • Seven Cluster Cannon
  • Seven Power Gloves
  • Slapperoni Pizza

This is secondary reporting about the launch or early-season pool. It should not be treated as proof that every item remained available throughout the season, or that the list captures every later addition.

  • FORTNITE: 6-inch action figure is inspired by the video game Fortnite
  • ARTICULATED: Feature 28 points of articulation to win any Battle Royale
  • ACCESSORIES: Comes equipped with Back Bling and Harvesting Tools
  • BONUS CODE: Code for virtual item included: Mecha-jolly

Which weapons and items were reported as unvaulted?

The same Insider Gaming roundup identifies these as returning or unvaulted in its launch/early-season list:

  • Combat Assault Rifle
  • Nemesis AR
  • Chapter 1 Pistol
  • Thunder Burst SMG
  • Iron Pump Shotgun
  • Twin Hammer Shotguns
  • Twin Mag SMG
  • Mythic Goldfish
  • FlowBerry Mist Grenade
  • Shield Bubble Jr.
  • Foundation-inspired versions of Chapter 6 Season 2 Exotics

“Unvaulted” means an item that was previously unavailable after being vaulted has returned to availability; it does not mean it was new to Fortnite. Epic’s Developer Community defines vaulted items as weapons and items that were released and later made unavailable. Because the pool changed over time, an item’s status in one launch roundup does not establish its status on a later date.

Why there is no definitive all-season vault list here

Epic’s seasonal balance commentary says Showdown received loot-pool updates more often than previous Battle Royale seasons, with unvaults accompanying milestone progress. In its Inside Seasonal Balance post, Epic explained that the pool changed as the season progressed. That makes “the Season 2 loot pool” date-dependent: a launch list, a mid-season snapshot and an end-of-season inventory can differ.

The community-maintained Chapter 7: Season 2 loot-pool timeline records dated additions and removals, but it is not an official Epic inventory. The official material cited here does not provide a complete final-day, weapon-by-weapon breakdown of new, vaulted and unvaulted items. Therefore, no single list in this guide should be read as the definitive final roster.

How did the Showdown shotguns differ?

Epic described four active shotgun choices in its seasonal balance commentary. Its guidance is about weapon roles and preferred situations, not a measured ranking of damage or overall strength.

Shotgun Epic’s stated role
Chaos Reloader For players confident in making a strong first shot.
Iron Pump For accurate aim and using cover.
Super Shredder For reaching targets in open areas.
Dual Hammers For maintaining pressure through longer fights.

These descriptions offer a practical way to choose between them: consider whether you want a decisive opening shot, precision with cover, reach across open space, or sustained close-range pressure. Epic’s published descriptions do not establish an objectively best shotgun or supply comparative performance statistics.

How to avoid mixing up Chapter 7 seasons

Chapter Seven launched with the Pacific Break season before Showdown. Epic’s Pacific Break Chapter Seven launch notes concern that earlier season, not Chapter 7 Season 2. Weapons such as the Deadeye AR and Holo Rush SMG mentioned in Pacific Break coverage should not be added to a Showdown list without separate evidence that they were available in Season 2.

For an accurate historical reference, label a roster by its date or source—such as “launch/early-season reporting”—and distinguish it from later additions and removals. Epic’s balance post confirms that pool changes were a regular part of Showdown, while a complete official final inventory is not established by the sources cited here.
