If you attended Fortnite’s Big Bang event on December 2, 2023, Epic said you would unlock the Marshall Magma Style for the Marshall Never More Outfit—not receive the outfit itself for free. If the style is missing, check the outfit’s styles in your Locker and contact Epic Support with your display name, the event date, and a short description of the problem. Epic’s current guidance covers live-event rewards generally, but it does not guarantee restoration of this specific historical reward.
What The Big Bang reward was
Epic’s November 21, 2023 announcement scheduled The Big Bang for December 2, 2023, at 2 PM ET. It described the reward as the Marshall Magma Style for the Marshall Never More Outfit. Epic said players who attended would unlock the style whether they bought the outfit before or after the event. Read Epic’s event announcement.

That distinction matters: “Marshall Magma skin” is common shorthand, but the announced reward was an outfit style, not a separate free outfit. To use the style, you need the Marshall Never More Outfit on the relevant account.
What to check if the style is missing
- Check the account used for the event. Sign in to the Epic account you used to attend; an item on another account will not appear in this account’s Locker.
- Look in the Locker. Find the Marshall Never More Outfit and check its available styles. Epic notes that some rewards may appear without a notification.
- Contact Epic Support if it is still absent. Include your Epic display name, the event date (December 2, 2023), and a brief description of the issue. Epic’s general live-event reward guidance says to contact support if a reward has not appeared within 72 hours of the event ending.
Epic’s general guidance also says players who were kicked, crashed, or disconnected while a live event was running were still counted as having attended. That is general guidance, not confirmation of any individual account’s attendance or entitlement.

Can Epic still grant the 2023 reward?
The public guidance does not promise that Epic can restore the Marshall Magma Style now. Its live-event help page offers a route to report a missing reward, while its general free-item guidance says Player Support cannot grant missed cosmetic items on request, though support can assist with valid claims. These general statements do not settle the outcome of a specific Marshall Magma claim.
The item was an event style, not identified as a Battle Pass reward. Epic’s separate rules for ended Battle Passes therefore do not directly determine whether this event style can be recovered. If you contact support, describe what happened accurately rather than assuming a particular resolution.

What is known about reports from players
Players publicly reported missing the style after the event, including in a December 4, 2023 report by PiunikaWeb. Those reports show that the complaint circulated, but they do not establish how many eligible players were affected or whether a particular account qualified. No reliable count or percentage of affected players is established by the cited sources.
Be wary of third-party offers claiming they can add the style or provide free V-Bucks. Epic advises players to trust offers shown through official Epic channels, not suspicious external offers.
