A separate PS5 discussion describes a similar EULA sign-in problem, but its commenters suggest different steps; none can be treated as the solution to the original post.
If Fortnite is stuck after you accept or verify the EULA, first check whether Epic is reporting a sign-in incident. If not, identify whether the failure is an account/EULA prompt, a connection problem, or a PC game-file error before trying repairs.
What is known about the Reddit post?
The post’s “SOLVED” label indicates that its author considered the issue resolved, but the resolution itself was not recovered. The platform, exact on-screen wording, and cause are therefore unknown. A separate r/FortNiteBR thread concerns a PS5 player stuck at EULA verification; its anecdotal suggestions vary and do not establish what fixed the title post.
That distinction matters: an EULA acceptance problem may look like a connection or launch problem, but the available information does not show that they share a cause. Treat the steps below as symptom-based troubleshooting, not as a confirmed reconstruction of the Reddit user’s fix.

What to check before changing settings
- Note the platform and the exact message on screen.
- Determine whether sign-in fails in Fortnite itself or in the Epic Games Launcher.
- Check whether other Epic services are available. This can help distinguish a local problem from a broader login issue.
- Check Epic’s service updates before attempting local repairs. Epic’s login support page directs players to Fortnite Status when sign-in problems are being investigated; the incident described on that support page was later marked resolved and is not linked to the Reddit post.
If Fortnite reports a connection problem
Epic’s connection troubleshooting guide covers both Epic Games Launcher sign-in failures and Fortnite connection symptoms. Follow its checks in order, matching them to what you see rather than assuming the EULA is the cause.
- Check connection to Epic’s game servers and whether a service issue is reported.
- Restart the modem or router and the device running Fortnite.
- Check the device’s date and time, then continue with Epic’s relevant network checks, which include DNS, cache, proxy, firewall, and other connection troubleshooting.
- Use the platform-specific guidance where applicable. Epic says Xbox players seeing “Error Connecting to Epic Services Queue” should contact Microsoft Support.
If you play on PC and suspect damaged game files
File verification is a general PC diagnostic for file or launch symptoms; Epic does not identify it as a universal fix for EULA or authentication failures. In the Epic Games Launcher, open Library, select the three-dot menu next to Fortnite, choose Manage, then select Verify. Wait for the check to finish before launching the game again.

Epic says verification checks the installed files and repairs or replaces files that differ. It also says saved data is not affected. For Fortnite’s specific “Corrupted data was found in game files” message, Epic additionally lists inconsistent device date/time and low drive space as possible factors; use that guidance only if your symptom matches. If PC troubleshooting does not resolve the issue
For broader Fortnite errors, crashes, or performance problems on PC, Epic’s PC troubleshooting guide includes later steps such as clearing the launcher cache, updating video drivers, running the launcher as administrator, and reinstalling the launcher or game. Those are general diagnostics, not evidence of a specific EULA-loop fix; use the current guide for the detailed instructions and proceed only when the steps fit your symptoms.

How to handle a persistent EULA acceptance loop
If there is no reported service incident and the failure remains specifically at EULA acceptance, the available sources do not establish a reliable, platform-wide fix. Check the platform/account-specific support route and provide the platform, exact error text, and whether the same account can sign in elsewhere. Avoid treating DNS changes, repeated reboots, or another player’s account-based workaround as a verified answer: those appear only as conflicting anecdotes in the separate PS5 discussion.
