Fortnite has offered two KAWS-themed cosmetics through its Item Shop: KAWSPEELY, a Peely outfit that Epic Games launched in July 2022, and KAWS Skeleton, a Fortnitemares 2021 outfit that Epic brought back alongside it. Epic’s announcements establish those launch details and what each outfit contains. They do not establish whether either outfit is listed today, what it costs, or when it might return. As of October 8, 2026, treat both as past releases until the live Item Shop shows them.
Which KAWS outfits Fortnite has offered
KAWSPEELY
Epic’s July 1, 2022 Fortnite announcement introduced the outfit with this line: “Available in the Item Shop starting July 2, 2022, at 8 PM ET, Peely blends with KAWS to create the KAWSPEELY Outfit!” The date and time are the launch window Epic gave at the time, not a current listing.
The outfit came with a KAWS COMPANION Back Bling. That Back Bling had GREY DAYS and NOIR NIGHTS styles in addition to its default style. Epic also described two accessories that accompanied the outfit: FAR FROM HOME, a KAWS COMPANION-themed Glider, and RIPE ON TIME, a Wrap.
KAWS Skeleton
KAWS Skeleton first appeared in Epic’s 2021 Fortnitemares announcement, in orange, green, pink, and bone-color styles. Epic’s 2022 announcement said the KAWS Skeleton Outfit would return to the Item Shop alongside KAWSPEELY and listed the same four styles.

Is either outfit available now?
The official material on these outfits dates from 2021 and 2022. It does not confirm current stock. Epic’s general Item Shop guidance says items rotate, that players should check back when an item is unavailable, and that Fortnite Support cannot grant items that are not currently in the shop. Epic does not give a return schedule for either outfit, so there is no published date to plan around.
How to check the Item Shop
- Launch Fortnite and sign in to the account you plan to buy with. Cosmetics are tied to the account that purchases them.
- From the Lobby, open the Item Shop.
- Search or scroll for KAWSPEELY and KAWS Skeleton. Match the item name, and check that the style you want is among those listed.
- Note the price shown in the shop at the time you look. Prices are set by the shop, not by this article, and they can change when an item returns.
- If neither outfit is listed, check again on later days. Epic’s guidance says Support cannot restore or grant items that are out of the shop.

What to expect
- Returns are not guaranteed. Epic’s shop guidance describes rotation, not a schedule, so a past outfit may never come back.
- The Item Shop is the channel the official announcements name. Physical KAWS products are not a route to these digital cosmetics.
- Prices cannot be quoted from these sources. Any price you see should come from the live shop on the day you check it.
The most useful check is the live shop itself. The announcements explain what the outfits look like and what they came with, but not what is available in October 2026.
