Epic’s Fortnite Mobile Championship offered two free Twitch Drops: the Midnight Gourdy Back Bling for watching on October 24, 2026, and the Midnight Batwings Pickaxe for watching on October 25. The official requirement was 30 minutes on each respective day, followed by a manual claim in Twitch inventory. Because those dates had passed by October 27, 2026, the original earning window is closed; check Twitch’s current Drops inventory for any replacement or extended campaign.
What were the Fortnite Mobile Championship Twitch Drops?
The promotion awarded two separate Fortnite cosmetics, one tied to each championship broadcast day. Watching on October 24 earned the Midnight Gourdy Back Bling, while watching on October 25 earned the Midnight Batwings Pickaxe.

Epic’s event page also listed a total prize pool of more than $200,000, including $50,000 for the champion. That competitive prize money was separate from the free Twitch cosmetics.
How did you get the Fortnite Mobile Championship drops?
You needed a Twitch account linked to the same Epic Games account used to play Fortnite, an eligible live broadcast, the daily watch time, and a manual claim. Watching by itself did not finish the process.

- Link Twitch before watching. Sign in to the Epic Games account connected to Fortnite, open Epic’s account Connections or Linked Accounts settings, and connect Twitch. Confirm that it is the correct Epic account before starting the broadcast.
- Watch an eligible stream. Epic allowed its official championship broadcast or another Twitch channel displaying Drop support. The listed broadcast start time was 11 AM EDT / 5 PM CET.
- Watch for the requirement for that date. The October 24 stream counted toward Midnight Gourdy; the October 25 stream counted toward Midnight Batwings. Each reward had its own 30-minute requirement and day.
- Claim the reward in Twitch. After Twitch marked the requirement complete, open Twitch inventory and claim the drop. The item was not delivered merely because the stream had been open.
- Check Fortnite’s Locker. After claiming, launch Fortnite on the linked Epic account and look in the Locker for the cosmetic.
Are the dates and watch time different for each cosmetic?
Yes. The Back Bling and Pickaxe were separate daily rewards, not two items earned from one combined viewing session. Epic’s official listing says 30 minutes on each day.
A guide published by Beebom on October 23, 2026 reported 60 minutes per day, or two hours total. That conflicts with Epic’s own event page; Epic’s 30-minute figure is the authoritative requirement for this promotion.

Why are the Fortnite Twitch drops not showing up?
Start with the account link and claim status before assuming the promotion failed. Epic’s support guidance identifies several checks.
- Open Twitch inventory and verify that each completed drop was actually claimed.
- Check that Twitch is linked to the Epic account currently used in Fortnite, rather than a different Epic account.
- If the accounts are mismatched, unlink Twitch and relink the intended Epic account, then check the Locker again.
- Allow up to 14 days in specific cases. Epic says drops normally appear in the Locker right after claiming, but some deliveries can take longer.
- If the Epic account is a Cabined Account, a parent or guardian must complete the required account setup before Twitch Drops can be earned.
Can you still earn these drops now?
Not through the originally published earning schedule. October 24 and October 25, 2026 had both passed by October 27, the date of the available official information. If Twitch shows an active Fortnite campaign in its current Drops inventory, follow that campaign’s dates and requirements instead; do not assume the championship requirements remain open.

What should you remember for a future Fortnite Twitch Drop?

- Use the official stream or a channel explicitly marked as Drop-enabled.
- Track the requirement for each reward day separately.
- Claim every completed item in Twitch inventory.
- Check Fortnite’s Locker and allow the stated delivery window before contacting support.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much prize money was offered at the Fortnite Mobile Championship?
Epic advertised more than $200,000 in total prize money, with $50,000 earmarked for the champion. That tournament purse was unrelated to the cosmetic Drops.
Did I need to buy anything to receive the Midnight cosmetics?
No purchase, controller, phone accessory, or other physical product was part of the published instructions. The qualifying actions were linking accounts, watching an eligible broadcast, and claiming the reward in Twitch.

What if I watched on both championship days?
You could qualify for both cosmetics by meeting the 30-minute requirement on October 24 and again on October 25, then claiming each completed drop separately in Twitch inventory.
