That was the announced final time for the event, so players should not assume there was an extra day or a later claim window.
When did Fortnite Winterfest 2025 end?
Epic said Winterfest 2025 ran from December 18, 2025, at 9 AM ET until January 5, 2026, at 9 AM ET. The announcement described that as the event’s end time, not the end of January 5 in every time zone. See Epic’s Winterfest 2025 announcement.

How did the Winterfest presents work?
During the event, players could open one present each day, and the cabin refreshed at 9 AM ET. Epic listed 14 presents in total. The Glacial Dummy Outfit became available after opening seven other presents; the Cheeks Outfit required opening thirteen. The other presents could be opened in any order.

- Redemption: Online
Was there a grace period to claim rewards?
Epic’s announcement does not describe a post-event claim window. It states that Winterfest ended January 5, 2026, at 9 AM ET, so there is no official basis in that announcement for assuming presents remained claimable afterward.
Does this date apply to the next Winterfest?
No. January 5, 2026, at 9 AM ET was the announced end of Winterfest 2025 only. Epic’s announcement does not give a schedule for a future edition, so check Fortnite’s official announcements for that event’s dates.

- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device.
