What free gifts were available?
The Winterfest cabin contained 14 presents from Lt. Winter. Players could open one present per day, and the cabin refreshed at 9 AM ET. After the first daily opening, the remaining presents could be opened in any order; they were not tied to a fixed item-by-item calendar.
Epic named these among the cabin rewards:
- Winterfest Bow Back Bling
- Festive Gwinny Back Bling
- Wrapped Axe Pickaxe
- Festive Bat Pickaxe
These are examples, not a complete list of all 14 presents. Epic’s announcement also did not promise that unopened event gifts would remain claimable after Winterfest ended.

Why could players open only one present a day?
One daily present was the cabin’s stated opening rule, not an error or a restriction that could be bypassed by choosing gifts in a different order. The cabin refreshed at 9 AM ET, and players could then open that day’s present. The other gifts’ order was flexible, but the daily limit still applied.
Which outfits required opening presents?
Two outfits were linked to present-opening milestones:

What changed on the map, and what seasonal items were available?
Epic described the event as “Golden Coast sunshine meets snow for Winterfest 2025” and named Blizzard Grenades and Snowball Launchers as available gameplay items. The announcement does not identify specific snowy locations or provide a detailed map-change list, so it does not support naming particular POIs, describing snow coverage, or giving item rotation dates.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
- Redemption: Online
Which collaboration outfits did Epic promote?
Epic’s announcement also promoted these outfits as shop items: Santa ‘Brina, associated with Sabrina Carpenter; Snow Miku, associated with Hatsune Miku; and Harry Potter outfits customizable for Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin. The announcement does not give their prices, precise Item Shop rotation dates, or current availability.

Epic says free items may be earned through in-game challenges, free Battle Pass content, or by securing an account with two-factor authentication (2FA). Its support page warns players to avoid suspicious external offers: legitimate offers appear on official Epic Games websites, the Epic Games Store, or official social channels. Epic also notes that some seasonal items are available only during their season and that Player Support cannot grant missed items on request. See Epic’s guidance on free Fortnite items.
