Fortnite Winterfest 2025 let players open one Cabin present per day; Epic did not require a match or a set amount of playtime. To collect all 14 presents, players needed to claim them on separate days before the event ended on January 5, 2026. The event is over, and Epic’s cited announcement does not establish the dates or rules for a 2026 Christmas event.
How Winterfest 2025’s daily giveaway worked
Epic’s Winterfest 2025 announcement said players could open one present each day in the Winterfest Cabin. The Cabin refreshed daily at 9 AM ET. That is the daily requirement: claim a present after the refresh. Epic did not say players had to play a match, or stay in Fortnite for a minimum amount of time.
The event ran from December 18, 2025, at 9 AM ET through January 5, 2026, at 9 AM ET. Epic offered 14 presents, so players seeking every gift had to make claims on separate days while the Cabin was available. A missed day could not be made up by opening multiple presents at once, because the limit was one per day.
Which presents unlocked the outfits?
Most presents could be opened in any order, but two outfits were tied to opening other gifts first:
#1 Best Overall
- GILDED TROOPER: Board the Battle Bus and drop in with Fortnite Legendary Skull Trooper (Gilded)!
- FORTNITE: 6-inch action figure is inspired by the video game Fortnite
- ARTICULATED: Feature 28 points of articulation to win any Battle Royale
- ACCESSORIES: Comes equipped with Back Bling and Harvesting Tools
- BONUS CODE: Code for virtual item included: Mecha-jolly
- Glacial Dummy Outfit: available after opening seven other presents.
- Cheeks Outfit: available after opening 13 other presents.
These thresholds counted presents opened, not matches played. Epic’s Player Support FAQ also addresses why only one gift could be unwrapped in the Cabin.
Do not confuse the Cabin with other Epic holiday offers
Other Fortnite cosmetics were available through separate Epic promotions during the same holiday period. They had different requirements and were not part of the Cabin’s daily present limit.

What this means for players now
Winterfest 2025 has ended. Its daily Cabin schedule and reward thresholds are historical event terms, not confirmation of how a future Winterfest will work.
