Is Ghost of Yōtei still available to pre-order?
No. Sony released Ghost of Yōtei for PlayStation 5 on October 2, 2025. Its pre-order period is over, so pages still framed as pre-order guides are out of date. The current buying decision is which edition to get and whether the live offer in your region is worth buying.

The launch-period Sakai Armor early unlock was tied to buying digitally by September 30, 2026. That cutoff has passed. Sony scheduled patch v2.0 content for October 1, 2026 globally and October 2 in some territories, including Asia, Australia and New Zealand; check the regional store terms for local availability. Sony’s Complete Edition announcement describes the timing and bonus.
Which Ghost of Yōtei edition should you buy?
For a new buyer, the Complete Edition is the current digital bundle to compare against the Standard Edition Blu-ray. It combines the base game with the Echoes of Sekigahara story expansion, Most Wanted combat-survival mode, Legends cooperative mode, and previously released Digital Deluxe content. If you already own the game, the Complete Edition Upgrade is the separate add-on option.

The original launch prices are historical MSRPs, not current offers, and should not be compared with a live sale as if they were checked at the same time. Sony’s 2025 announcement records those launch prices; the 2026 Complete Edition prices come from Sucker Punch and PlayStation’s announcement. What is in the Collector’s Edition?
The Collector’s Edition pairs a digital full-game entitlement with physical display and play items. PlayStation Direct lists a Ghost Mask, sash, tsuba, papercraft Ginkgo Tree, art cards, and a Zeni Hajiki coin game with pouch. The digital entitlement is not a Blu-ray disc, so this edition is not the right choice if you need a physical game copy.

For digital editions, start with your regional PlayStation Store listing; the US PlayStation Store Complete Edition page is one official route. For a disc, use the Standard Edition Blu-ray purchase route on PlayStation’s US product page or compare retailer listings in your country. The official pages establish these purchase paths, but they do not establish which retailer currently has stock or the lowest delivered price.

No current third-party inventory, Amazon offer, seller legitimacy, or best delivered price has been verified here. Before buying, compare like with like and check:
- That the listing is the edition and platform you want: PS5, Blu-ray, digital Complete Edition, upgrade, or Collector’s Edition.
- Whether the seller is the retailer itself or a marketplace seller, and whether the copy is new, used, or resale.
- The total delivered cost, including shipping and any applicable taxes, rather than the headline price alone.
- For digital purchases, the account region and the exact contents shown on your regional PlayStation Store page.
- For Collector’s Edition listings, whether the digital code is unused and valid for your region; do not assume a resale code will work.
Because stock and discounts change, a “best price” is meaningful only for a specific region, edition, seller, condition, and check time. Treat original launch MSRPs as historical context, not evidence of today’s lowest price.

Which version makes sense for you?
- Choose Complete Edition if you are new to the game and want the base game plus its listed expansions, modes and previous Digital Deluxe content in one digital purchase.
- Choose the Upgrade if you already own the base game and your regional store confirms you qualify.
- Choose Standard Edition Blu-ray if owning or lending a physical disc matters more than having the Complete Edition bundle.
- Choose Collector’s Edition only if its physical collectibles justify the price to you and a digital game entitlement suits your setup.
