If you mean the Nine-Tails (Kitsune) puzzle boxes in Ghost of Yōtei, the guides identify 12 boxes, all in Teshio Ridge. Their names follow the order you collect them—not where they are—so check the name shown in your inventory before using a solution. The location guides place one box on a body in Sakura Woods, four at Kitsune Altars, and seven in Yōtei Six Camps, including four hidden hideouts. The guides assign no fixed inventory name to any of these sites. A box found at a particular location could have a different name depending on the order you collected boxes, so use the inventory name rather than guessing from the map.
Match the solution to the box name
Each box uses its own sequence of sliding panels or bars; there is no universal solution. All Things How lists sequences for the 12 inventory names below. Open its corresponding entry for the complete move-by-move instructions, particularly if a panel or bar appears to stick partway through: that interruption is included in the guide’s described sequence.
