The Santa Monica Studio announcement names the Deluxe equipment as the Dark Alchemy Armor Set, Dark Alchemy Blade, Dark Alchemy Bow Scales, and Dark Alchemy Catalyst. PlayStation’s page groups these as the “Dark Alchemy Equipment Set” and summarizes the bow item as “Dark Alchemy Bow.” The US page’s $10 upgrade is the same amount as the listed price gap between Standard and Deluxe, but that arithmetic does not guarantee the upgrade will be available for every account or version.

For a physical Standard Edition preorder, Santa Monica Studio says the bonus is supplied by download code. PlayStation’s terms say the code requires an internet connection and a PlayStation account, expires on February 16, 2037, and unlocks the items through story progression. That means the items may not be usable immediately at the start of the game.
Can you preorder the physical PS5 version?
Yes. The official US listing presents Standard Edition as available in physical or digital form, and identifies PS5 as the platform. The Deluxe Edition and listed Upgrade are digital. Check that a retailer’s actual product listing specifies the physical PS5 Standard Edition if you want a disc; an edition name alone may not establish the format.

For a physical preorder, verify whether the seller provides the publisher’s bonus code, how it will be delivered, and any conditions that apply. The publisher confirms code delivery for the physical Standard Edition, but does not establish each retailer’s fulfillment policy or whether a particular seller has stock.

- Console: Confirm the listing is for PS5 and that you have a compatible console.
- Format: Check whether the exact offer is physical or digital. The Standard Edition is listed both ways; the Deluxe and Upgrade are digital.
- Edition value: Compare the Deluxe digital artbook, soundtrack, equipment, and resource pack with the $10 gap from the US-listed Standard price. If those extras do not matter to you, the Deluxe contents may not justify the difference.
- Upgrade eligibility: If you plan to buy Standard and upgrade later, confirm the $10 upgrade applies to your purchase, format, and account region before relying on it.
- Bonus code terms: Check how a physical seller supplies the preorder code. Redemption requires internet access and a PlayStation account, and the items unlock during story progression.
- Retailer offer: Confirm current price, stock, delivery estimate, cancellation or refund terms, and any retailer-specific bonus directly on the live listing. These details are not settled by the official PlayStation and Santa Monica Studio pages.
