Godfrey Icon is an Elden Ring talisman that boosts the power of attacks you charge: sorceries, incantations, and certain skills. You can obtain it by defeating Godefrey the Grafted in the Golden Lineage Evergaol in Altus Plateau.
What does Godfrey Icon do?
The talisman’s item description says it “Raises charge attack power of sorceries, incantations, and skills.” In practice, the attack must be one that can be charged, and you must charge it for the effect to apply. A long animation or an attack you can simply delay is not necessarily a charged attack.

Players discussing the talisman on Steam likewise point to the need for a skill to be chargeable and actually charged; that discussion is anecdotal, not an official mechanics ruling. The reviewed sources do not establish a numerical damage multiplier, so there is no reliable percentage to quote here.
Where to get Godfrey Icon
- Travel to the Golden Lineage Evergaol in Altus Plateau. GameSpot places it southeast of the Grand Lift of Dectus.
- Use a Stonesword Key to open the Evergaol.
- Defeat Godefrey the Grafted. The talisman is awarded for defeating him.
Is Godfrey Icon right for your build?
It is most relevant if your build relies on chargeable sorceries, incantations, or skills and you regularly charge those attacks. If your preferred attacks cannot be charged, or you rarely charge them, the talisman may not contribute to your usual damage. Consider the effect alongside the other talisman you would use in that slot; the available sources do not support a numerical ranking against alternatives.

Is Godfrey Icon a real-world product?
Godfrey Icon refers here to an in-game talisman, not a verified standalone retail item. If you are looking to play Elden Ring, check the game’s current edition and availability for your platform before buying. A fan-made pendant listing is not evidence that a product is official or licensed.
