Golf VS Zombies is an arcade golf game that mixes aiming and course hazards with RPG elements and combat against the undead. It is not presented as a traditional golf simulation. You can play alone, or choose local multiplayer on supported platforms; the available modes and player setup depend on the version.
What kind of game is Golf VS Zombies?
The game puts golf precision in a post-apocalyptic setting, where players must contend with zombies as well as the course. Its publisher describes it as “an arcade golf simulator with RPG elements which combines golfing precision with action-packed combat against the undead.” Steam’s official listing presents it as an arcade-and-combat hybrid rather than a conventional golf sim.
Is Golf VS Zombies single-player or multiplayer?
Yes, it supports solo play and local multiplayer, but the store listings describe different options by platform. Steam lists single-player and shared/split-screen PvP, including hot-seat play for up to four players. Nintendo lists one to four players on a single Switch system. Xbox lists single-player and local co-op. These descriptions are platform-specific; they do not establish online multiplayer across platforms.
Playing with others on Nintendo Switch
Nintendo says one compatible controller per player may be needed for multiplayer and lists the Pro Controller as compatible. A Pro Controller is an option, not a requirement for ordinary play. The Switch listing also says the game supports TV, tabletop, and handheld modes.

Which version should you choose?
- For PC: Compare your computer with Steam’s minimum requirements below. Steam’s listing includes shared/split-screen PvP and hot-seat play.
- For Switch: The listing confirms single-system play for one to four players, as well as handheld, tabletop, and TV modes. Account for the possibility of needing a compatible controller for each player.
- For PlayStation or Xbox: The game is listed for both generations of each console family. Xbox explicitly lists local co-op; check the relevant store page for the exact features available for your console.
Each store page describes its own platform’s features. Do not assume that a multiplayer mode or control setup listed for one version is available on every other version.

Steam lists these minimum requirements for the PC version:
- Operating system: Windows 10
- Processor: Intel i5, fourth generation, or equivalent
- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- Graphics: GTX 660
- DirectX: Version 10
- Storage: 6 GB available space
