Bus, PATH, and driving
The operator also lists the M55, M20, and M22 buses; stops differ by direction. PATH serves the World Trade Center terminal from multiple points in New Jersey. For westbound drivers, the operator points to parking near Harrison PATH as one option before continuing by rail. On-street parking in Lower Manhattan is extremely limited, and the Memorial does not provide parking. Some local partners may offer discounts to Museum ticket holders; confirm participating locations and terms directly before relying on one. Current transit and parking information
Finding the Memorial from the Oculus
If you arrive through the Oculus, the World Trade Center wayfinding directions say to head toward Greenwich Street, cross the street, and continue straight to the Memorial; turn left for the Museum. Follow current signs and route guidance on site, since campus access can change. Oculus wayfinding
How to read the World Trade Center campus map
The Port Authority World Trade Center Campus Map is useful for orientation beyond street-level directions. It labels the North Pool, South Pool, Museum, Memorial Glade, Survivor Tree, Liberty Park, Oculus, One World Observatory, transit entrances, and campus amenities. It includes street-level and below-grade layouts, so nearby points may connect through a concourse or a particular entrance rather than a direct surface route. Use it to understand the campus; use the Memorial & Museum’s own visitor pages for current access rules and directions.
Plan the Museum visit and pack accordingly
Time to allow
The Museum recommends planning 45–90 minutes, and visitors may explore at their own pace. Treat that as the institution’s planning range, not a guaranteed visit length; your time will depend on how much of the exhibits you choose to see. Museum visit information
