The Wishing Well was a Fairy Event feature in Grow a Garden: players submitted Glimmering crops to build Fountain Power, then made a wish for a reward from a tiered pool. The original event is reported to have run August 30–September 13, 2025. Its availability and rules for any later return are unconfirmed, so check the live game interface before preparing or submitting crops.
Is the Wishing Well available now?
The Wishing Well’s documented appearance was tied to the 2025 Fairy Event. The event-history page lists its dates as August 30–September 13, 2025 (event history). As of October 8, 2026, available information does not establish that the Well is currently accessible or that a rerun uses the same requirements, thresholds, or rewards. If it appears in your game, rely on the live event UI for current instructions.
How to make a wish
In the historical event, fairies could give crops the Glimmering mutation. Players submitted those crops to the Well, charged Fountain Power, and used the Well’s wish interface. A third-party guide reports this sequence and the UI labels below; labels may differ if the feature returns.
- Check the Well’s request. The historical guide says to inspect which Glimmering fruits it asks for.
- Submit matching Glimmering crops when available. These satisfy the specific request.
- Use another Glimmering fruit as a fallback. The August 30, 2025 update-log transcription says: “Submitting any glimmering fruit will charge up Fountain Power, which counts the same as completing the specific fruit requirements.”
- Interact with the Well. The guide describes opening “Show my tasks” and then choosing “Make a Wish” to select a reward. Treat these as guide-reported historical labels, not guaranteed current wording.
The update-log transcription is hosted by a community wiki (August 30, 2025 update log); the detailed steps come from an unofficial Grow A Garden PRO Wishing Well guide.

Can you submit any Glimmering fruit?
According to the 2025 update-log transcription, yes: any Glimmering fruit charged Fountain Power and counted the same as completing the Well’s specific fruit requirements. Matching the requested crop was therefore not the only reported route. The guide also assigns different Fountain Power values by crop rarity, so its reported values favor higher-rarity fruit:
| Crop rarity | Reported Fountain Power |
|---|---|
| Common | 1 point |
| Uncommon | 2 points |
| Rare | 3 points |
| Legendary | 4 points |
| Mythic | 5 points |
| Divine | 6 points |
| Prismatic | 7 points |
| Transcendent | 8 points |
These values are from the unofficial guide, not confirmed current-game figures. It reports five thresholds and says excess Fountain Power carries over to the next tier:

The pool spans Fairy Points, seeds, eggs, crates, tools, a pet shard, and—in the reported Tier 5 pool—Aurora Vine. If the Well returns, compare the live interface’s tier and displayed odds with what you want; do not assume the historical list or percentages still apply.
