The ordinary No Mames lager is a separate product. Tripping Animals Brewing’s own 2026 product page describes that beer as a bright-gold lager in 16-ounce cans, 12-ounce cans, draft and kegs at 6% ABV. That specification does not automatically apply to the reported No Mames Vice City label. A similar name is not proof that the two products share a recipe, package or release.
The reported label dates show that documents existed in the regulatory system. They do not establish that any of the three beers reached a brewery, distributor, store shelf or customer.

- Open the complete record. Record the certificate number, status, filing or approval date, certificate holder, brewer or bottler, address, package description and the label image.
- Save the exact image and status. A later status can differ from the status shown in an old article. Keep the registry image and the date you viewed it so another reader can distinguish an active approval from an expired, surrendered or revoked record.
- Compare every visible detail. Check the brand spelling, city, package size, alcohol statement, government warnings and artwork against the image circulating online. A cropped or altered image is not equivalent to the registry record.

What does a COLA prove, and what does it not prove?
A COLA can show that a certificate holder received authorization to use the depicted label on alcohol that it bottles, removes or imports, subject to the certificate’s terms. Check the package information
Match the can or bottle size, serving format, ABV statement, beer style and government warning. The ordinary No Mames page’s 6% ABV figure belongs to that ordinary lager; do not transfer it to No Mames Vice City without a product-specific source.
Check the artwork
Look for the complete label rather than a promotional mock-up. Confirm that the spelling, logos, copyright notices and layout correspond to the registry image. A fan-made can, an edited photograph or a reseller’s rendering can borrow official-looking art without proving authorization.

Approval and availability are separate events. A product may have an approved label before it is brewed, shipped or stocked, and a filing may never become a retail product.
