On PlayStation, preorder the digital Standard or Ultimate Edition of Grand Theft Auto VI before November 20, 2026, to qualify for one month of GTA+. You must claim the offer through PlayStation by March 31, 2027; the membership then renews monthly unless you cancel. The offer terms describe a digital purchase, not a confirmed perk for physical preorders.
Who qualifies for the free GTA+ month?
PlayStation says digital preorders of either the Standard or Ultimate Edition qualify when purchased before November 20, 2026. The offer is claimed separately: after preordering, visit the GTA+ product page and follow the on-screen steps. It is available in PlayStation country stores except Bahrain, China, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Russia, and Taiwan. Buyers must also meet the age requirements for both GTA VI and GTA+.

What are the preorder and claim deadlines?
Rockstar lists Grand Theft Auto VI for release on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. PlayStation’s offer page gives November 20, 2026, as the qualifying-purchase cutoff, while its Store listing says the offer ends November 19. Because those dates differ, do not wait until the final day: check the live terms in your local store and complete the preorder before the stated cutoff.

The free month must be claimed by March 31, 2027. Preordering and claiming are separate actions, so save time to complete the claim after purchase. Rockstar’s official GTA VI page lists the release date, platforms, and preorder pack.

Both editions list the same GTA+ month and Vintage Vice City Pack. The US$20 price difference is for the Ultimate Edition Upgrade; the subscription month alone is not an extra benefit of choosing Ultimate. Check your own country’s PlayStation Store listing for local pricing and terms. PlayStation’s US edition listing is the source for these prices and included items.

Does a physical preorder get the GTA+ month?
The official PlayStation offer reviewed here describes eligible digital PlayStation purchases. It does not establish that buying a boxed copy from a retailer qualifies for the GTA+ month. Rockstar lists the Vintage Vice City Pack as a preorder bonus, but that pack and the GTA+ subscription are separate benefits. Do not assume a physical order includes the subscription; check the exact retailer and platform terms before buying.

Will the free month add anything to GTA VI?
PlayStation describes its GTA VI listing as a single-player experience, while Rockstar lists PS5 and Xbox Series X|S as the game’s platforms. The offer pages do not promise a GTA VI story-mode benefit or say the GTA+ month unlocks GTA VI multiplayer. Treat the month as a separate GTA+ subscription offer, not as confirmed extra content for the game.

How to avoid being charged after the free month
- After preordering the eligible digital edition, open the GTA+ product page on PlayStation and complete the claim steps shown on screen.
- Note the paid-continuation date displayed in the claim flow. PlayStation says the membership continues as a paid monthly subscription unless canceled.
- If you only want the free month, cancel before the next payment through your account’s subscription management settings. PlayStation’s US Store listing provides the product and renewal terms.
