Yes—₹7,499 is the listed Indian price for Grand Theft Auto VI Ultimate Edition on both the PlayStation and Xbox storefronts. PlayStation India also lists the Standard Edition at ₹5,999. The important catch for collectors is that Rockstar’s “physical” product is not a disc release: the box contains a download code, and Rockstar explicitly says no disc is included.
Rockstar has scheduled the code-in-box package and digital pre-load for November 12, 2026, one week before the November 19 launch. That makes the ₹7,499 purchase a choice between editions and bonuses, not between a traditional disc and a download.

How much does GTA 6 cost in India?
Indian storefront listings show two prices on PlayStation, while Xbox currently shows the Ultimate Edition price:
| Edition | India price shown | Format | Included content | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | ₹5,999 on PlayStation India | Digital; Rockstar also documents a code-in-box physical option | Grand Theft Auto VI, Vintage Vice City Pack, and one month of GTA+ under the stated pre-order offer | Players who want the base game at the lower listed price |
| Ultimate | ₹7,499 on PlayStation India and Xbox India | Digital | Grand Theft Auto VI, Ultimate Edition Upgrade, Vintage Vice City Pack, and one month of GTA+ under the offer terms | Players who want the additional Ultimate upgrade content |
The ₹1,500 difference between the PlayStation listings is the price of the Ultimate Edition Upgrade. The available data does not establish a separate Indian Xbox Standard price, so that figure should not be inferred from the PlayStation listing.

Does the GTA 6 physical box contain a disc?
No. Rockstar’s support language says the physical version contains a download code for the digital game and that “A disc will not be included in the box.” The Rockstar Store repeats that physical versions contain only a download code to support pre-loading.
In practical terms, the package gives you retail packaging and a redeemable digital entitlement rather than game media that can be inserted into a console. A code-in-box copy therefore cannot provide the normal disc benefits of lending, swapping or reselling a physical disc.

What comes with the Vintage Vice City Pack?
Rockstar describes the pack as including the ’55 Vapid Stanier Sedan and Garage, outfits and hairstyles, and an exclusive weapon pattern. Rockstar says pre-orders and purchases made before November 20 receive it.
Is the Ultimate Edition a different game?
No separate campaign or platform is identified for Ultimate in the supplied edition details. It is presented as the base game bundled with an Ultimate Edition Upgrade, so buyers should choose it for the additional listed content rather than expecting a different release.
When can players in India preload GTA 6?
Rockstar’s announced schedule puts digital pre-load on November 12, 2026. The code-in-box product is also scheduled to ship or become available for pickup from November 12, allowing a redeemed code to be used for pre-loading before launch.

Can an imported GTA 6 code be redeemed on an Indian account?
For PlayStation, Rockstar says the purchased code must match the region of the user’s platform account. India is included in Rockstar’s Rest of EMEA and Asia grouping, so an India-account purchase is the straightforward option.
That regional rule means an imported PlayStation code should not be treated as universally interchangeable with an Indian account. Check the code’s stated region before buying; the documentation describes Xbox codes as not region-locked.

Which GTA 6 edition should Indian buyers choose?
- Choose Standard at ₹5,999 if the lower PlayStation price is the priority and the base game is all you need.
- Choose Ultimate at ₹7,499 if the Ultimate Edition Upgrade is worth the ₹1,500 premium to you.
- Choose the code-in-box product if you want a boxed purchase for collection or gifting but accept that it is still a digital download and contains no disc.
- Choose a digital pre-order if immediate account delivery and the November 12 pre-load are more important than owning packaging.
Whichever format you select, verify the platform, edition name and account region at checkout. The physical label does not change the underlying download requirement.

Does the GTA 6 code-in-box include a printed game manual or disc?
Rockstar’s published description only promises the box and a redeemable download code. It does not list a disc or a separate game manual as included media.
Do GTA 6 pre-order bonuses apply after launch?
Rockstar says the Vintage Vice City Pack is included with pre-orders and purchases made before November 20. That cutoff is separate from the November 19 launch date, so the offer extends briefly beyond launch day under the stated terms.
Is one month of GTA+ guaranteed with every Indian copy?
The one-month GTA+ benefit is described as part of the digital pre-order offer, not as a permanent feature of every copy. Confirm the offer wording on the storefront at purchase, especially for a code-in-box listing.
Can I use the same GTA 6 purchase on both PlayStation and Xbox?
No cross-platform entitlement is described. The listings are platform-specific, so a PlayStation purchase and an Xbox purchase should be treated as separate products.
