Some Grand Theft Auto VI promotional souvenirs have sold for several hundred dollars, but the resale market is highly uneven. A used Burger Shot paper bag reportedly reached $501, a Vice City foam finger reportedly sold for $555, and free Tokyo Game Show shirts were reported sold at $219.99 each. Those are isolated event-driven results, not a standard price for all GTA 6 merchandise. Regular Rockstar Store products remain available at far lower retail prices, while active listings and presales can exaggerate what buyers are actually paying.
Why are GTA 6 promotional items suddenly so expensive?
The biggest premiums come from restricted access rather than production cost. Miami event concessions, Tokyo Game Show giveaways and short-lived promotional activations were available only to people in particular cities, venues or time windows. Fans elsewhere then turned to secondary marketplaces, creating competition for objects that originally cost little or were free.

Earlier Miami promotions at the arena generated the most eye-catching resale reports. Dexerto said a themed meal cost more than $37, while Games of Food and other outlets documented bags, cups, fries packets and foam fingers appearing online.
That scarcity is also amplified by FOMO. Dexerto described fans unable to attend Miami events or the Tokyo Game Show competing for souvenirs after the fact. A booth giveaway that disappears in minutes can command more than a deliberately expensive product that shoppers can still order from an official store.

How much did the Burger Shot bag and Vice City foam finger sell for?
The strongest reported examples are individual completed-sale reports, and they should not be treated as appraisals for every similar item.

A listing marked “sold” is useful evidence, but it does not independently prove that payment cleared or that the buyer completed the transaction. GamingBible specifically warned about that limitation. Condition, photographs, shipping terms and seller credibility can all affect whether a headline price reflects a real market value.
What happened to the Tokyo Game Show shirts?
Free PlayStation booth shirts became another scarcity-driven collectible. Dexerto reported that the booth reached capacity and closed after about 10 minutes. Initial Mercari listings exceeded 12,000 yen, approximately $76 at the conversion used in that report, and one Osaka reseller reportedly sold two shirts for $219.99 each including shipping and import fees.

MMO.net described other listings around $140–$200 for the shirts, plus $30–$40 listings for GTA 6 stickers and carabiners. These figures describe marketplace listings and reported sales, not a guaranteed exchange rate for every size or shirt condition. Buyers outside Japan also need to account for international postage, import charges and the risk that a seller is listing an item before receiving it.
How do official Rockstar prices compare with resale listings?
The Rockstar Games Store provides the clearest benchmark for authenticity and normal retail pricing when stock is available. GTAVice.net’s 2026 comparison found large gaps between listed retail prices and eBay asks for several products.

These are not like-for-like measures: retail prices and resale asks may use different currencies, regions, shipping costs and tax treatment. GTAVice.net noted that sellers may accept offers and that some listings are presales. An asking price is an invitation to negotiate, not proof that a buyer paid it.

Is the $399.99 Vice City Collection a bargain compared with resale?
The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection is listed at $399.99 in the Rockstar Games Store and does not include a copy of the game. Its price helps show why a $500 food bag can look startling: a one-off event souvenir can briefly outrun a large, officially packaged collection even though the collection contains substantially more merchandise.
The catalog also lists sticker collections at $9.99 and $4.99. Those prices are useful checks against $30–$40 secondary listings for small Tokyo giveaways, but availability can change and regional catalogs are not identical.
Are the high-priced figures official Rockstar merchandise?
No. Event packaging and giveaway apparel may be licensed promotional material, while fan-made objects are a separate category. Resell Calendar reported hand-painted Lucia statues selling for as much as $650 and 3D-printed Macca figures for $25–$100; those should not be presented as official Rockstar products.

Before buying, inspect the description for licensing language, manufacturer information, original event context and clear photographs. A fan sculpture, an unauthorized print and an official store item can share characters or logos while having completely different authenticity and resale prospects.
How can buyers tell a real GTA 6 resale value from hype?
- Prioritize completed transactions. Separate a paid sale from an active bid, an unsold listing or a presale.
- Check whether the seller has the item. Presales carry delivery and cancellation risk, especially for unreleased or future event merchandise.
- Match condition and provenance. A used paper bag, unopened shirt and damaged souvenir are different products in practical terms.
