Halo Infinite’s Banished Honor Operation ran from April 30 to June 4, 2024; it is no longer upcoming. Its CU32 update introduced The Exchange, a rotating in-game store where players could spend earned Spartan Points on selected past rewards and new cosmetics. The update also brought a free 20-tier Operation Pass, Forge additions and gameplay changes.
What was The Exchange?
The Exchange was a rotating store for selected customization items, separate from the credit-priced Shop. Halo Waypoint said it would feature past limited-time rewards, including event-track items, login bonuses, Twitch drops and partner promotional items, along with some new items. Players entered through Shop > Visit the Exchange Shop, according to Halo Support’s Banished Honor patch notes.
Exchange purchases used Spartan Points (SP), which the official materials describe as earnable through gameplay and Operation reward tracks—not as a currency to buy. Halo Waypoint listed 250 SP for the first Daily Challenge, 1,000 SP for the weekly Ultimate Challenge, and up to 15,000 SP through Operation reward tracks. These are figures from the 2024 launch materials, not a statement about current rewards.
Rotating out did not mean an item was permanently lost: Halo Waypoint said rotated items would later be accessible through customization menus. Halo Support cautioned that some items might appear to leave the Exchange with a new Operation before becoming available under Customize. Check the current game client for present-day rotation and item availability.

What did the Banished Honor Operation Pass offer?
The free pass had 20 tiers of customization rewards and Spartan Points. Players progressed with Match XP and Challenge completions. Halo Support said the pass remained available through premium offers after the five-week free window ended.
| Offer | Cost | What it included |
|---|---|---|
| Free Operation Pass | Free | 20-tier reward track; progress through Match XP and Challenge completions. |
| Premium pass | 500 Credits | Made the pass permanent, added an extra Challenge slot while equipped, provided bonus Match XP during the Operation, and included an exclusive customization item. It did not instantly unlock the tiers. |
| Premium pass with instant unlock | 2,000 Credits | Included the premium-pass benefits and instantly unlocked all 20 tiers. |
The customization overview identifies the premium pass-exclusive item as the Fuego Flame armor coating. The free track included Essence Decompilation. Promotional materials showed the Datacore Administrator visor, but Halo’s official correction clarified that visor belonged to the Facing Firewall bundle, not the free Banished Honor pass.
