What is Halo: Parasite’s Wake about?
Tim Lebbon’s story takes place in 2552, after Reach falls to the Covenant and the UNSC Pillar of Autumn reaches the ringworld Halo. Staff Sergeant Marvin Mobuto leads fellow survivors from the ship’s brig across Installation 04 toward the Autumn’s crash site, hoping to regroup with other human forces.

The group includes marines facing serious charges, among them desertion, drunken disorder, and murder. They must contend with the Covenant as well as the Flood, a threat released from deep within Halo. The premise brings the survival-horror danger of the Flood outbreak into the familiar setting of Halo: Combat Evolved, seen through survivors trying to cross the ringworld.

No. Halo: Parasite’s Wake is a novel. It is separate from Halo: Campaign Evolved, the announced remake of Halo: Combat Evolved. The book’s setting is the era of the original game; it is not a game release or the remake’s title.
