That wording places the remake in a company-wide year-over-year comparison; it does not isolate the game’s contribution. How to interpret the FY2024 figures
EA reported full-game net bookings of $2.005 billion for fiscal year 2024, up $194 million, or 11%, from fiscal year 2023. It also reported full-game net revenue of $2.015 billion, up $78 million, or 4%, year over year. These are EA portfolio figures, not sales or revenue figures for Dead Space Remake. EA defines net bookings as the net amount of products and services sold digitally or physically during a period.

“Partially offset” is a directional statement about the portfolio comparison. It does not quantify the remake’s sales, establish that it sold poorly, or show that it fell short of expectations. The same filing attributes the portfolio’s growth primarily to other named releases, but does not disclose how much any one title added or offset.
Does that mean a sequel is likely?
