Arrowhead’s Redacted Regiment Premium Warbond is built around suppressed weapons, covert reconnaissance, and a commando-style C4 option. Its original Jan. 20, 2026 release plan was later revised: PC Gamer reported on Jan. 19 that the Warbond was set to launch Jan. 22. The announcement details three weapons, two stratagems, two armor sets, a smoke-deploying booster, and cosmetics.
What is the Redacted Regiment Warbond?
Redacted Regiment is a paid Helldivers 2 Premium Warbond themed around suppression, reconnaissance, and special-operations gear. Arrowhead community manager Katherine Baskin introduced it as “the latest suppression technology and spec ops fashions” for Helldivers undertaking “furtive expeditions.” These are the Warbond’s announced theme and item descriptions, not independently tested performance claims.

The official PlayStation Blog announcement and Helldivers 2 Steam announcement were published Jan. 13, 2026. Both originally said the Warbond would be available Jan. 20. On Jan. 19, PC Gamer reported that Arrowhead had moved the release to Jan. 22. The Jan. 20 date was the initial plan, not the later reported date.
What weapons are included?
The three announced weapons offer two different primary-fire approaches—a precision rifle and an automatic assault rifle—plus a dart-firing sidearm.

R-72 Censor
The R-72 Censor is a mid-range precision rifle with an integrated suppressor. Arrowhead says it is intended to keep its user undetectable on the battlefield; that is promotional wording, not a verified guarantee that enemies cannot detect the player.
AR-59 Suppressor
The AR-59 Suppressor is a fully automatic assault rifle with a non-removable suppressor. Compared with the Censor’s precision-rifle role, it is the announced automatic-fire option.
P-35 Re-Educator
The P-35 Re-Educator is a dart-firing secondary pistol. According to the announcement, each round releases a chemical agent that causes delirium in organic targets and delirium-like malfunction in inorganic targets.

What stratagems and stealth tools are included?
The two stratagems serve different purposes: the C4 Pack is for placing and detonating explosives, while the Lure Mine is described as drawing enemies toward a trap. The Concealed Insertion booster instead creates smoke when a Hellpod arrives.

This backpack stratagem carries six adhesive C4 charges and a wireless detonator. The announced controls let players detonate charges individually or all at once, making it the set’s commando-style explosive option.
TM-01 Lure Mine
The throwable anti-personnel mine sticks to surfaces, emits lights and sounds to attract nearby targets, and detonates when they get close. Its announced role is to divert enemies toward the mine before it explodes.

Concealed Insertion booster
Concealed Insertion deploys a smokescreen when the Hellpod impacts. Its trigger is the arrival itself, distinguishing it from the Lure Mine’s enemy-attraction-and-detonation sequence.

Armor and Reduced Signature
The Warbond includes the light RS-89 Shadow Paragon and the medium RS-67 Null Cipher. Both share the Reduced Signature passive, which the announcement says reduces noise and the range at which enemies can detect the player. The Null Cipher’s descriptions of radar-absorbent polymer and a null-signature heat baffle are fictional presentation, not evidence of real-world materials or separately established gameplay effects.

Other announced rewards are the Pillar of the Abyss and Triangulation Veil capes and player cards, the Target Sighted victory pose, and the player title “[Redacted].”
What does unlocking Redacted Regiment require?
The official announcement says players need the base game, paid Super Credits, and game progression to unlock the Warbond. The announcement passage does not give a Super Credits price. Current in-game availability and price have not been verified here, so check the live in-game store for those details.
