Localization and movement
- Traditional Chinese localization was added.
- The German translation was refined.
- Silk Soar can now pass through top scene exits.
Gameplay and bug fixes
- Fixes address cases in which enemies or Hornet could be pushed out of bounds.
- A Last Judge death-explosion issue was fixed.
- Magma Bell now protects against fire-type explosions.
- The notes also list fixes to tool, enemy, and boss behavior, plus other smaller issues.
- A bench was added beside Pale Lake before the Flea Caravan arrives.
Is Patch 5 available on console?
Team Cherry’s Patch 5 announcement said the update was live on PC platforms and “coming soon to consoles.” That statement describes the rollout at the time of the announcement, not the present status. The official pages reviewed document PC availability but do not confirm whether or when the update subsequently reached each console storefront. Check the update listing for your platform for its current version and availability.

What comes after Patch 5?
Team Cherry announced Sea of Sorrow as a free expansion planned for 2026, but did not give a specific release day. Its announcement describes a voyage “across and beneath the salt-stricken seas.” Further information was expected closer to release.
