Weavenest Atla lies east of Moss Grotto and is entered through a sealed door opened with Needolin. Inside, restore power to operate the lift, then use the central bench to orient yourself as you collect the map, Rune Harp, Mask Shard, Spool Fragment, Mossberry and Snare Setter. Eva is hidden in the southeast, while the Moss Mothers wait in the overgrown southwestern nest and reward the Weavelight tool.
When to visit Weavenest Atla
One recommended progression route visits Weavenest Atla after defeating Widow at the end of Shellwood. After acquiring Cling Grip, players naturally loop back toward Bellhart, making Atla a convenient optional detour for its Hunter Crest upgrade. This is a suggested route, not a required order; you can explore the area later when you have the abilities needed for its traversal challenges. See Nintendo Life’s recommended progression guide.
How to enter and open the lift
- Go to the eastern side of Moss Grotto and find the sealed entrance to Weavenest Atla.
- Play Needolin at the door to open it. The entrance must be opened with Needolin again each time you return.
- Once inside, find and activate the power room. This powers the lamps and the lift that connects the area’s upper and lower sections.
- Use the central bench as your main landmark while exploring the rooms around it.

Where to find the map and collectibles
The area’s notable pickups include the map, a Rune Harp, a Mask Shard, a Spool Fragment, a Mossberry and the Snare Setter. A Steam Community 100% route also lists the map, Rune Harp, Mask Shard and Spool Fragment; use the local landmarks below to reach the less obvious rooms.

Pick up the area map as you begin exploring and use it alongside the central bench to track the connections between upper and lower rooms.
Rune Harp and Mask Shard
In the easternmost room, break through the wall to reveal a concealed passage. The Rune Harp is in the room immediately before the platforming challenge in that passage; continue through the challenge to reach the Mask Shard.

Spool Fragment
From the central bench, enter the passage to its north and get past two Marrowmaws to reach the Spool Fragment.
Mossberry
Explore the area for the Mossberry, another listed pickup. The available area reference confirms it is here but does not specify a more exact room or route.

Find Eva and upgrade the Hunter Crest
Eva is in the southeastern part of Weavenest Atla, behind breakable walls. Find and break through them to reach her, then speak with her for Hunter Crest upgrades and the Vesticrest. The available location information does not establish upgrade costs or prerequisites, so check the options presented in your game.
Eva’s dialogue describes the nest’s history: “There, my mothers built their tools, all traps and bindings. Small things, but tests for larger forms. I still remember their thoughts as they worked, their desperation, and their hunger. Another hopeless attempt to wrest their freedom. All ended in failure, of course.”

Get the Snare Setter
The Snare Setter is concealed in the room north of the bench, near that room’s entrance. The area reference associates reaching it with Faydown Cloak’s double jump. From the lift, the route described by PC Gamer’s Silk and Soul quest guide is to jump above the door on the right, hop across the lift shaft and find the hidden passage in the roof.
The Snare Setter is one of four components for the Silk and Soul quest. Return all four to the Caretaker in Songclave to complete it.

The Moss Mothers are in the nest on the overgrown southwestern side of Weavenest Atla. Defeating them rewards the Weavelight tool. The available sources establish the encounter and its reward, but not verified boss phases, damage values or a preferred loadout.
