There are six Pollip Hearts, all found in Shellwood as part of Greyroot’s Rite of the Pollip Wish. Each comes from a large purple bloom: strike the bloom with your Needle or weapon, then collect the heart it drops. The route landmarks below help you find every one, especially if you are returning for a missing heart.
Before you start the Shellwood sweep
Speak with Greyroot in Shellwood to take on the Rite of the Pollip. Small purple flowers on walls and drifting purple petals can point toward a large bloom, but it is the large bloom you need to hit to release a Pollip Heart.
Some of the routes require Cling Grip to climb walls. You can collect any hearts you can reach earlier, then return with Cling Grip to complete the set. Guides vary on whether the ability is needed to begin the quest; it is safest to treat it as an access requirement for a full sweep rather than a quest-start requirement.

Walkthroughs use different numbering and route order, so use the room features and access clues rather than treating these as a universal numbered sequence.

Climb the right side
Look for a route up the right side of the area. Climb to the large bloom and strike it to release the heart.
Bounce across white flowers
In a room with white flowers, use them as bounce points to reach the bloom. Hit it and collect the dropped heart.

Circle above and break through
Approach the room from its upper side, then clear the breakable obstacles to reach the bloom. The route is easy to miss if you only search from ground level.
Pass the breakable vines
Search for a passage blocked by vines that can be broken. The bloom is beyond the vines; strike it to make the heart drop.

Use the purple flower landmark
Find the large purple flower and destroy it. It releases a Pollip Heart when hit.
Re-enter from above to reach a small room
This route cannot be reached from ground level. Re-enter the area from above, then bounce across white flowers to get into a small room and reach the bloom.

How to check a route when one heart is missing
- Scan for large purple blooms; the smaller wall flowers and drifting petals are visual clues, not the collectible itself.
- Check both sides and upper entrances of rooms, including paths hidden behind breakable obstacles or vines.
- Use white flowers as bounce points where a route leads upward or across a gap.
- If a climb or upper passage is out of reach, come back after obtaining Cling Grip.
- Include the route near Shellwood’s entrance, the white-flower room, hidden-wall and vine-wall passages, and the return passage via Bellhart in your search.
Return the six hearts to Greyroot
Once you have all six Pollip Hearts, return to Greyroot in Shellwood and turn them in to complete the Rite of the Pollip. The reward is the Pollip Pouch, an in-game Tool or charm associated with poison effects. Descriptions of its precise effect differ, so do not assume it poisons every Needle attack.
