For a Break-focused Fugue build, prioritize Speed and Break Effect. Long Road Leads Home is the leading Light Cone recommendation in the version 4.6 guide material reviewed; Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge is the main four-piece Relic recommendation. Your best planar set and teammates depend on enemy weaknesses, the Break damage dealer you use, and the rest of your roster. These recommendations reflect a guide updated September 26, 2026, so check current rankings if the game has changed since then.
What Fugue does in a Break team
Fugue is a five-star Fire character on the Nihility path, used primarily as a Break support. Her role is to help a team make better use of Break and Super Break damage. Icy Veins describes her as a support who enables allies to deal Super Break damage and grants a unique Toughness mechanic; that is the guide’s characterization, not a quoted performance result.
Because her value is tied to the team’s Break plan, build recommendations are not universal rankings. A cone or set that looks strongest in one guide may be less useful if your damage dealer, enemy weaknesses, or available equipment differ.
Best Light Cones for Fugue
Long Road Leads Home
Long Road Leads Home is Fugue’s signature Light Cone and the leading choice in the current guide summary. Icy Veins’ rationale is that it provides Break Effect and applies a debuff that increases Break DMG taken by enemies when they are weakness broken. It is the clearest fit when your team can exploit that Break window.

#1 Best Overall
- Honkai: Star Rail Fugue 1/8 Figure Stellar Luck Ver.
Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat
Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat is a practical alternative in the current build summary and is also described as a strong four-star option by HSR Zone. Consider it when you do not have the signature cone or want a team-support option built around its debuff. Its usefulness depends on the team’s ability to benefit from the debuff during its damage windows.
Solitary Healing
HSR Zone lists Solitary Healing as a viable lower-cost option. It is an alternative to weigh against the cones above based on what you own and whether your team’s damage plan benefits more from its effects than from the other options.

These are guide recommendations rather than a universal ranking for every team or Light Cone superimposition. HSR Build notes that its ranking rows are based on Prydwen.gg rankings measured in play and rephrased, with ratios conditioned on the superimposition and team stated for each row. Those conditional rankings should not be read as general damage percentages.
Best Relics and planar ornaments
Four-piece Relics
Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge is the principal four-piece Break set recommended by Icy Veins. It is a natural starting point for a Break-focused build. Thief of Shooting Meteor and mixed Break Effect or Speed pieces are alternatives, especially when their substats are substantially better than the pieces available in a nominally preferred set. Do not force a set bonus at the expense of a build that better meets Fugue’s practical stat needs.

Planar ornaments
Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern is worth considering when its Fire-weakness synergy is dependable for the encounter and team. Talia: Kingdom of Banditry is an alternative when Fugue can meet its Speed condition and benefit from its Break Effect. Choose between them according to Fugue’s Speed, the damage dealer’s needs, enemy weaknesses, and whether teammates can implant Fire weakness.
Stats to prioritize
- Speed: A primary build goal. Its value depends on how Fugue fits into the team’s action order and rotation.
- Break Effect: The other core priority for a Break support build.
- Survivability: Use defensive main stats where needed to keep Fugue alive through the content you play.
- Energy utility: An Energy Regeneration Rate rope is a possible choice if you value ultimate cadence; weigh it against the Break Effect and survival needs of your build.
The reviewed guides do not establish one Speed or Break Effect threshold that applies to every team and rotation. Treat those stats as priorities, then adjust for survivability, energy needs, and the equipment you actually have. Critical-hit investment is not the default recommendation for the Break build covered here.

Fugue team comps
Use these four-character lineups as examples, not fixed prescriptions. Each pairs Fugue with a Break damage dealer and varies the support and sustain slots:
| Example lineup | What it illustrates |
|---|---|
| Firefly / Fugue / Ruan Mei / Gallagher | A Firefly-centered Break team with Ruan Mei and Gallagher. |
| Boothill / Fugue / Bronya / Aventurine | A Boothill lineup using Bronya as support and Aventurine for sustain. |
| Rappa / Fugue / Harmony Trailblazer / Lingsha | A Rappa team that keeps another Break support alongside Fugue. |
| Xueyi / Fugue / Harmony Trailblazer / Natasha | An accessible example built around Xueyi, with Harmony Trailblazer and Natasha. |
When adapting a lineup, check the Break damage dealer’s needs, whether the supports overlap or complement one another, how well the team covers enemy weaknesses, and which sustain character your roster can provide. The guide material does not establish one universally best Fugue team.
Version and source context
The main ranking reference, HSR Build, identifies its data as version 4.6 and was updated September 26, 2026: HSR Build’s Fugue build and teams guide.
