In Bungie’s The Edge of Fate materials, the feature is called Arms Week, not Arms Day. It is a one-week, archetype-focused event that starts with Ada-1, advances through activity play and event challenges, and offers weapon rewards through an event track and engrams. Bungie’s official descriptions do not support the separate weekly Banshee-44 order-and-delivery system sometimes described as “Arms Day.”
What Arms Week is—and what it is not
Bungie described Arms Week as “a one-week duration event focusing on a single weapon archetype” in its July 24, 2025 This Week in Destiny. The first edition began July 29, 2025, and featured Hand Cannons. Players pursued event progress by using the featured weapon type in activities.
That is different from a system where players place an order with Banshee-44 and return after a delay to collect a weapon. Bungie’s Arms Week descriptions do not establish weekly weapon orders, delayed deliveries, or Arms Day order costs. The title’s “Arms Day” wording is therefore best understood as a mistaken label for Arms Week, not as the official name of this event.
How to start and progress through Arms Week
Begin with Ada-1
During the documented event, Ada-1 at the Shooting Range was the starting vendor. Visit her to begin the Arms Week pursuit. Bungie’s launch explanation tied event progress to using the featured archetype in activities; for the first edition, that meant Hand Cannons.

Earn Combat Telemetry through activity play
Using the featured weapon archetype in activities generated Combat Telemetry and advanced event progression. The featured archetype is edition-specific, so the Hand Cannon requirement belongs to the first event, not to every Arms Week. Bungie later announced a Shotgun-focused edition for the week of October 7, 2025.
Complete event challenges and progress the track
The Arms Week Event Home presented daily and weekly challenges. Completing them advanced the Event Track, with rewards that included currencies and weapons, including Holofoil variants at higher ranks. Event Tokens were also among the rewards and could be spent in the Event Shop. Bungie’s July 31, 2025 event update described these in-progress systems.

How Arms Week weapon engrams work
Ada-1 offered Arms Week weapon engrams in exchange for Combat Telemetry. Rahool handled the next step: Bungie said players could have him decrypt an engram for free or pay additional Combat Telemetry to focus it for higher-tier rewards. The free decryption and paid focusing options were described in the July 31, 2025 update; the source does not establish current costs or guarantee that the same terms apply in a future event edition.

These are historical examples, not a current rotation calendar. They show that the featured archetype can change by edition, but do not establish which Arms Week is live on October 8, 2026, or whether another edition is currently available.

How Banshee-44 fits in
Banshee-44’s documented role is separate from Arms Week. Before The Edge of Fate launched, Bungie said Banshee would offer legacy weapons for Enhancement Cores and Glimmer in its June 12, 2025 This Week in Destiny. That offer is not evidence of an Arms Week order system, and it should not be confused with Ada-1’s event engrams or the event’s Combat Telemetry loop.

Because the lineup and event details can vary, use the in-game Arms Week Event Home and the current vendor descriptions for the edition you are playing. Check the featured archetype, pursuit requirements, challenges, Event Track and Event Shop, and the engram and focusing options before spending event currency. The 2025 announcements do not verify a live schedule, current costs, or current reward inventory for October 2026.
