You can check whether someone is online now on Roblox, but Roblox does not provide a supported public timestamp showing when they were last online. If a profile or Friends list shows someone as offline—or does not show a status—that does not tell you when they last used Roblox.
Where to check a Roblox friend’s current status
Open the person’s Roblox profile or look for them in your Friends list. Roblox may show their current online status if their visibility settings allow you to see it. Roblox explains that people outside the account holder’s selected audience will see the account as offline on the profile or in the viewer’s Friends list. Roblox’s privacy settings guide describes these visibility controls.
That display is about current status, not a record of the person’s last session. An offline indicator can reflect privacy settings; it is not proof of when the person was last online.

Roblox announced on October 28, 2024 that it would deprecate its last-online endpoint on November 15, 2024. The company stated: “Additionally, we will be deprecating the last online endpoint, a timestamp of when a user was last online. We will no longer support this endpoint.” Roblox’s Developer Forum announcement also said it would limit the Presence API for users whose presence is set to friends-only.
Current experience and activity updates are different
Roblox’s Show current experience setting controls whether other people can see which experience someone is playing. The platform also documents a separate option for sharing recent in-experience activity updates with friends. Neither setting provides a historical timestamp for when the person last used Roblox. Their visibility depends on the account’s settings and the audience selected by its owner. Roblox’s privacy settings guide covers these controls.

How to treat old guides and third-party claims
Some older posts and Roblox experiences describe ways to look up last-online information. For example, a 2020 Developer Forum FAQ about one such experience is historical and unofficial; its author later noted that Roblox had removed the last-online feature and that the experience’s information might not be up to date. The forum FAQ should not be treated as evidence of a currently supported or accurate timestamp.
Roblox no longer supports the old last-online endpoint. A website, extension, or experience may make its own claims or use other methods, but those claims do not restore Roblox’s supported feature. Do not assume a tool can provide an exact, reliable time, and avoid tools that ask for your login details or encourage bypassing someone’s privacy choices.
