If the leftover money is Roblox Credit already redeemed to your account, you can convert an eligible remainder to Robux from Roblox’s gift-card redemption page in a web browser. Cash or a balance held outside Roblox cannot be converted through that process.
Convert remaining Roblox Credit in a browser
-
Open Roblox in a web browser and sign in to the account where the gift card was redeemed.
-
Go to the Roblox gift-card redemption page and select Get Robux. The default selection may be the largest Robux package your credit can buy; use the Robux purchase page to choose another package if you prefer.
-
If credit remains after buying a package, Roblox may offer to use the remainder for more Robux. Choose Buy to convert eligible remaining credit or Cancel to leave it as Roblox Credit.

Check what kind of balance you have
Roblox Credit from a redeemed gift card
This is gift-card value already added to a Roblox account. It is the balance that can be spent on Robux through the browser process above.
A gift card that redeems directly for Robux
Most Roblox gift-card redemptions are stored as Roblox Credit, but Roblox says Amazon Gift Cards and Party Packs Gift Cards redeem for Robux only and cannot be redeemed for Roblox Credit. Those cards follow their own Robux redemption route; they do not convert a credit remainder already on your account.

Cash or another stored-value balance
Cash, prepaid funds, or another gift-card balance outside Roblox is not Roblox Credit, so the Roblox Credit conversion button does not apply. Under Roblox’s U.S. gift-card terms, Roblox Credit has no cash value and is nonrefundable and nontransferable, except where required by law. The terms also generally say gift cards have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash. These statements describe the cited U.S. terms; local terms and legal requirements may differ.
If the conversion option does not appear
-
Confirm you are signed in to the account that redeemed the card; the credit is tied to that account.

If you are trying to pay the shortfall with a card, note that Roblox does not combine a Roblox Credit balance and card payment in one purchase. The credit must cover the purchase, or Roblox will ask for another payment method.
What converting credit does not do
Converting or buying Robux is not the same as cashing out. Roblox says gift-card redemptions and direct Robux purchases are not Earned Robux eligible for DevEx; DevEx applies to eligible creator earnings under its rules. Roblox also describes Robux gifting as a separate feature, currently available only to select users in the United States on computer or web and subject to age and verification requirements. Gifts are final sale and nonrefundable, and availability can change. Neither option converts an outside cash balance into Roblox Credit.
