Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesOpen Library in the Epic Games Launcher, select the three-dot menu beside the game, choose Manage Add-Ons, then move the slider right for each DLC you want to install. Some games do not show this control because their DLC is downloaded with the main game.
Install DLC from the Epic Games Launcher
- Open the Epic Games Launcher and select Library.
- Find the game, then select the three-dot menu beside its title.
- Choose Manage Add-Ons.
- Move the slider to the right for each DLC you want installed.
Epic says Manage Add-Ons may appear only when the game is installed or needs an update. If the game has no separate DLC control, the content may be included in the main game download. If there is not enough disk space, the Launcher should show an error stating how much space needs to be freed.

If Manage Add-Ons is missing
First, distinguish a missing installation control from DLC that is installed but not yet accessible. Epic notes that not every title offers Manage Add-Ons: for some games, the DLC arrives as part of the main download. Also check whether the game is installed or needs an update.
Epic’s Library guidance distinguishes Manage Add-Ons, for handling DLC you own, from Explore Add-Ons, which opens related store content. Explore Add-Ons is not the installation setting.

If the DLC is missing or you cannot access it
Work through these checks in order. They are troubleshooting possibilities, not a guarantee that any one issue is the cause.
- Check the game and account. Confirm you are viewing the right Epic Games account and that the game appears in its Library. Reset Library filters if needed. Epic says users usually need to own the base game on their Epic account before buying its DLC; see Epic’s DLC purchase guidance.
- Check where the DLC is managed. Some games use a secondary launcher, such as EA App, Ubisoft Connect, or Paradox Launcher. Check that launcher as well as Epic. A game may also require you to reach a certain point before its DLC becomes available.
- Confirm availability and updates. Make sure the DLC has been released and that the relevant game and launcher are up to date.
- Refresh the Launcher. Restart the Epic Games Launcher and the game. If the problem remains, clear the Launcher web cache using Epic’s missing game or DLC troubleshooting guidance.
- Check security and network settings. Epic also recommends checking antivirus settings, trying the Launcher with administrator access, and checking whether a VPN is in use.
If DLC says “uninstalled” after changing its settings
Epic identifies a known issue in which the Launcher can display DLC as “uninstalled” after its settings are changed under Manage Add-Ons. Epic’s interim workaround is to restart the Launcher; this should correct the displayed status and restore access. If the status returns, Epic says another Launcher restart may be needed.
Quick Recap
Best Value
- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
