Collaboration items can return during an announced window, but one franchise’s schedule does not predict another’s—and Epic does not guarantee that any particular cosmetic will return.
How do Fortnite Item Shop rotations work?
The Item Shop lists virtual cosmetics such as outfits and other items, sometimes grouped into bundles or special offers. Epic’s live shop page shows current listings and V-Bucks prices, but those details change; use the live Item Shop and inspect the in-game listing for current details.

Epic changed how rotation timing is displayed in April 2024: instead of an overall shop refresh timer, the shop shows the rotation time in each player’s time zone. Epic also said that, beginning in late May 2024, item descriptions would show the planned date an individual item rotates out. That is the most relevant timing information for a specific offer. A general shop refresh time is not a guaranteed deadline for every item. Epic’s shop and Locker changes announcement explains the update.

There is no single duration that applies to every listing. Check the item’s description for its planned departure date, and use the shop’s displayed rotation time to understand when the catalog updates in your time zone. Treat the posted date as the item’s planned departure from that listing, not as a promise that it will return later.

Before spending V-Bucks, compare the individual item and any bundle: note what cosmetics each includes, the displayed prices, and the planned departure date shown in the listing. Bundle pricing and inventory are specific to the offers currently displayed, so an old screenshot or price should not be treated as current.
When do Fortnite collab skins come back?
There is no universal return calendar for collaborations. Epic sometimes announces a specific window for new and returning items. For example, in an announcement dated April 30, 2026, Epic said that new and returning Star Wars outfits and items would rotate through the Shop during May 2026. That establishes a window for that collaboration; it does not establish a monthly, annual, or guaranteed schedule for Star Wars items or other franchises. Epic’s Star Wars announcement gives the dated example.

For a particular collab cosmetic, check the current Item Shop and Epic’s official announcements. If neither lists it, its next appearance is not established. A previous appearance—or another collaboration’s return—is not evidence of a scheduled comeback.

Can Battle Pass cosmetics come to the shop?
Epic’s August 2024 policy says items in future Battle Passes might be offered in the Item Shop at least 18 months after the relevant pass expires. This is conditional eligibility, not a return date or promise: Epic explicitly says no Battle Pass item is guaranteed to reach the Shop, and the number of alternate styles included may vary. The policy concerns future Battle Passes and should not be applied automatically to every older cosmetic or collaboration item. See Epic’s Battle Pass exclusivity change FAQ.

Epic’s same 2024 policy statement said the Battle Pass would remain priced at 950 V-Bucks, with an opportunity to earn 1,500 V-Bucks by leveling up. Those are figures from that announcement, not a substitute for checking current pass terms and prices.

No. Crew is a separate subscription route for benefits listed by Epic, including a Crew Pack, 800 V-Bucks, and premium rewards from specified passes while the subscription is active. The subscription recurs monthly until cancelled, and Epic says benefits are subject to change. These terms do not indicate when a particular collaboration cosmetic will appear in the Item Shop. Check Epic’s Fortnite Crew page for current benefits and subscription terms.
