If you meet those conditions, submit a ticket through Hytale Support under Billing & Purchases, including the purchase email and transaction ID. Check the policy’s exceptions first: gifts are non-refundable, and some payment methods are marked as having no refund available.
Check whether your Hytale purchase qualifies
Hytale Support’s refund policy, updated June 25, 2026, sets two standard conditions: the request must be submitted within 14 days of the purchase date, and the account must have less than four hours of playtime. Read the current refund policy and available payment methods before filing; older launch-era summaries may not reflect its current wording.
- Purchase date: the request must be submitted within 14 days of purchase.
- Playtime: the account must have less than four hours of playtime. The policy says “less than,” so four hours or more does not meet this standard condition.
- Purchase type and payment method: gifts are non-refundable, and the policy marks certain payment methods as “NO REFUND AVAILABLE.” Check the live list because methods may depend on location and can change.
If your payment method is listed as unavailable for refunds, the policy directs payment-method inquiries to Tebex support. That direction is not a guarantee that a refund will be granted.
How to request a Hytale refund
- Open Hytale’s refund policy and confirm the time, playtime, purchase-type, and payment-method conditions.
- Go to the Hytale Player Support request form.
- Select Billing & Purchases as the request category.
- Include the email address associated with the purchase and the transaction ID. Hytale’s FAQ identifies these as the details to provide when requesting a refund.
- Submit the ticket and follow up through support if needed. Hytale’s published sources do not state a guaranteed response time or a general processing timeline for ordinary refund requests.
What happens to your username after a refund?
Hytale’s FAQ says your username remains reserved for seven days after a refund. After that period, it automatically becomes available to other players, so it may be claimed by someone else.

How consumer-rights rules may affect a request
Hytale’s Terms of Service version 2.2, effective January 13, 2026, preserves applicable statutory rights. The terms describe a 14-day withdrawal right for certain distance purchases of Virtual Content by people habitually resident in the UK or an EEA territory, subject to conditions: the right ends once downloading or use has started, and the terms specifically state it ends once the content is downloaded. They also describe remedies for non-conforming digital content or services: repair or replacement, or, when that is impossible or disproportionate, a price reduction or contract termination with a refund. In that specific remedy context, the terms say a refund is made to the original payment method within 14 days of confirmation.
These terms do not determine whether an individual request qualifies under the law where they live. Review the current Hytale Terms of Service and applicable local law if your situation involves statutory rights or a dispute. The terms’ 14-day refund wording for non-conforming content is not a general promise about how quickly a standard support-ticket refund will be processed.
