There is no verified universal lock-in cutoff for every League of Legends Clash event. A secondary source describes a tier-based two-hour window, but that timing is not confirmed by current Riot guidance. For your tournament, use the countdown shown in the League client.
What lock-in timing has been reported?
A secondary source reports that Clash lock-in opens over a two-hour window, with access staggered by tier:
- Tier IV opens first.
- Tiers III and II open at 30-minute intervals after Tier IV.
- Tier I opens in the final half-hour of the window.
This is a reported schedule, not a verified current Riot rule, so it may not match your event.
How to find the cutoff for your Clash tournament
- Open the League of Legends client and go to the Clash tournament page.
- Check the countdown displayed for that event and follow its lock-in deadline.
- If the client shows tier-specific lock-in options, use the opening time and remaining countdown for your team’s tier rather than assuming every team shares one start time.
The available information does not establish one current deadline across regions or tournaments. Another secondary page also describes tier-based timing but gives a different deadline description, so it does not resolve the conflict.
