There is no single wait time for pending Robux: it depends on what generated the balance. Roblox says proceeds from a Limited or Limited U resale are released after that item’s holding period, which can be up to 30 days. For Experience Pass earnings, Roblox confirms a pending escrow period but does not specify a fixed duration. Check My Transactions to identify the transaction and its status.
How long pending Robux takes by transaction type
| What is pending? | What Roblox says |
|---|---|
| Limited or Limited U resale proceeds | Roblox says proceeds appear as Pending and move to your balance after the item’s holding period ends. The holding period can be up to 30 days; that figure applies to this resale scenario, not to every kind of pending Robux. Roblox: How to sell items |
| Experience Pass earnings | Roblox says sales earnings are held in pending escrow, but its support article does not give a fixed number of days. Roblox: Experience Passes |
| Robux transfer | A recipient must accept the transfer, and age requirements or parent approval may apply. If the age requirements are not completed within seven days, Roblox says the transfer is canceled and the Robux are returned. Roblox: Transfers |
| Purchase delayed during a Roblox service interruption | Roblox says most affected purchases are applied within an hour and at most within 24 hours. This guidance applies to delayed purchases during a service issue, not earnings held in sales escrow. Roblox status and outage guidance |
How to check what is holding your Robux
- Open Roblox and go to your Robux balance or transaction-history area.
- Select My Transactions.
- Find the pending entry and identify whether it is a resale, Experience Pass earning, transfer, or purchase.
- Apply the rule for that transaction type. Roblox directs users to My Transactions to check pending Robux and sales. Resale guidance, Experience Pass guidance, Roblox: Where are my Robux?
What to do if the status does not explain the delay
Check the transaction record and any transfer notification for an action you still need to take, such as accepting a transfer or completing applicable age requirements. If the category or status remains unclear, contact Roblox Support through its official help center. Roblox’s Experience Pass support page does not publish a fixed release time, so a specific arrival date cannot be inferred from that page.

Why outage timing is different from pending earnings
The within-an-hour, at-most-24-hour timeframe is for purchases delayed during a Roblox service interruption. It is not a general deadline for creator earnings or resale proceeds, which follow their own transaction conditions.
