You need 240 Superior Dragon Fragments to craft all four pieces of Superior Dragon Armor in Hypixel SkyBlock. Each occupied recipe slot uses 10 fragments, so the pieces require 40 for the helmet, 80 for the chestplate, 70 for the leggings, and 50 for the boots.
Superior Dragon Armor fragment costs by piece
| Piece | Fragments | Recipe slots |
|---|---|---|
| Helmet | 40 | 4 |
| Chestplate | 80 | 8 |
| Leggings | 70 | 7 |
| Boots | 50 | 5 |
| Full set | 240 | 24 |
The recipe-slot count is not the number of fragments: each required slot takes 10. In total, the four recipes use 24 occupied slots, which means 240 individual fragments—not 240 stacks. The Hypixel SkyBlock Wiki lists the set’s raw material requirement and piece recipes on its Superior Dragon Armor page; its Dragon Fragment page explains the 10-fragment-per-slot rule.
Where to get Superior Dragon Fragments
Superior Dragon Fragments can come from Superior Dragons and Superior Lost Adventurers. The wiki lists a Superior-armored Lost Adventurer as dropping 1–2 fragments. A dragon’s fragment yield depends on Dragon Weight, so there is no single fixed number to assume for every dragon encounter.
Can you get the armor without crafting it?
Superior Dragon Armor pieces are also listed as possible drops from Superior Dragons when the player meets the Dragon Weight requirement for the piece. This is an alternative route, not a reduction in the 240 fragments needed to craft the complete set; a drop is not guaranteed. Check current in-game requirements, since drop conditions can change with updates.

Plan your crafting
You can craft pieces individually as you gather enough fragments for each recipe. For example, the helmet requires 40; the full set requires 240. The exact count is an in-game recipe total documented by community-maintained Hypixel SkyBlock Wiki pages, rather than an official Hypixel recipe page.
