Pokémon Scarlet has five commonly counted Legendary Pokémon in its base game: Koraidon and the four Treasures of Ruin—Wo-Chien, Chien-Pao, Ting-Lu, and Chi-Yu. The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC adds Ogerpon and Terapagos, among other Legendary encounters, so an all-in total depends on whether you include DLC, trades, or Pokémon HOME transfers.
Which five Legendary Pokémon are in Scarlet’s base game?
The commonly counted base-game total is five: Scarlet’s mascot, Koraidon, plus the four Treasures of Ruin. This is a count of the recognized base-game roster, not a consolidated total published by The Pokémon Company. Its official Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Pokémon page identifies Koraidon and Miraidon as Legendary Pokémon.

How many Legendary Pokémon are there with the DLC?
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero adds Ogerpon and Terapagos, both identified as Legendary Pokémon by Nintendo’s Pokémon Scarlet listing and The Pokémon Company’s Pokémon Day 2023 update. Counting only the five base-game Pokémon above and these two named DLC additions gives seven. That is a scoped count, not a definitive total of every Legendary Pokémon a player might obtain while using the DLC.
The official DLC Pokémon list notes version differences and includes Pokémon that may be obtained through Pokémon HOME or trades. Therefore, totals can differ depending on whether the question means Pokémon encountered in Scarlet’s own content or every eligible Pokémon that can be brought into a save.

This count uses the Legendary category, not Mythical Pokémon. Keep those classifications separate when comparing totals. Pecharunt’s classification is not established by the official sources cited here, so it is not included in the count.

From the in-game menu, go to the Poké Portal, then select Mystery Gift, select Get with Code/Password, and then enter your code.
- The Mystery Gift option can be found within the Poké Portal menu option in the X menu after you unlock the feature in the Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.
