Molten armor is pre-Hardmode equipment made up of the helmet, breastplate, and greaves. Wearing all three pieces gives the listed set bonus of +10% extra melee damage. The armor pieces also provide immunity to fire blocks and to the On Fire! and Burning debuffs.
What does it take to craft a full set?
Crafting all three pieces requires 45 Hellstone Bars, made from 135 Hellstone and 45 Obsidian. The recipes call for 10 bars for the helmet, 20 for the breastplate, and 15 for the greaves.

Which Terraria versions do these values cover?
The wiki’s main Molten armor page says its information applies to Desktop, Console, and Mobile. Old-gen console and Nintendo 3DS differences are handled separately, so these figures should not be assumed to cover every legacy release.
