A rented Palworld server in 2026 can advertise prices from about $3 to $13 per month for a small group. A 32-player world is commonly reported at roughly $20 to $85 per month. Those headline prices need scrutiny: many entry plans provide only 5GB to 8GB of RAM, while third-party summaries of Pocketpair’s requirements list 16GB RAM and at least four CPU cores for a dependable dedicated server.

The cheapest tier may therefore be useful only as a trial or for a very light workload. Before comparing monthly prices, check the RAM, CPU, storage type, renewal rate, player limit, backups and network terms included in the plan.

Advertised Palworld hosting prices in 2026
The figures below are prices reported in provider or hosting-comparison search summaries, not independently verified laboratory measurements. The year was not stated for the individual provider figures, and promotional pricing can change. Treat them as reference points rather than guaranteed quotes.
| Plan or market segment | Advertised price | Resources or capacity stated | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|---|
| RunOnFlux entry managed plan | From $2.61 per month | 5GB RAM | Lowest reported headline price; 5GB is below the 16GB requirement summarized by third-party guides. |
| RunOnFlux entry plan | From $3.49 per month | 5GB RAM, up to four players | Suitable only if your actual workload fits the limited memory; four slots do not guarantee four-player stability. |
| Connecthosting Starter | $12.99 per month | 8GB RAM, 25GB storage | More storage and memory than the cheapest tiers, but still below the commonly cited 16GB floor. |
| Connecthosting Pro | $21.99 per month | 16GB RAM | Matches the memory figure cited for a basic dedicated server; verify CPU cores and included features before buying. |
| Reported 32-player market range | About $20 to $85 per month | Full 32-player world | A broad comparison range rather than one provider’s quote; actual capacity, region and add-ons determine the final bill. |
A $2.61 plan costs $31.32 over 12 months if the rate remains unchanged. A $3.49 plan would total $41.88 over the same period. Those calculations exclude tax, upgrades and any renewal change; the prices themselves were reported as “from” rates, so the provider may charge more for a particular location, billing cycle or configuration.

Why the cheapest plan is not automatically the cheapest workable server
Memory is the first constraint to check. Third-party summaries of Pocketpair’s requirements list 16GB of RAM as the official requirement, with 32GB or more preferred for larger servers. Community guidance also warns that an 8GB machine may boot but has a higher risk of out-of-memory crashes. A 5GB plan can therefore be inexpensive while still being a poor fit for a persistent world, especially when several players explore, build and load different areas at once.
Player-slot numbers describe the maximum number of connections a plan permits; they do not describe the amount of RAM the game process, operating system and any additional server software will consume. Ask the host whether the advertised memory is dedicated to your instance or shared, and whether the control panel reserves part of it for the operating system.

What a 2026 budget should include
Server rental
For a small group, the market’s visible entry prices span roughly $3 to $13 per month. In practice, compare the first plan that reaches the memory and core requirements with the cheaper plans that merely advertise a low starting price. A 16GB plan listed at $21.99 can be a more relevant comparison than an 8GB plan at $12.99 if stability matters.
Storage
The dedicated-server installation is roughly 12GB to 15GB. An SSD is recommended, and low-performance storage can increase the chance of save-data corruption. Leave room for updates, logs and backups instead of choosing a disk that is only slightly larger than the initial install. The 25GB storage figure in the Starter listing leaves a finite margin once operating-system files and backup copies are counted.
Backups and support
Plans differ on automated backups, backup retention, restore controls, support hours, data-center locations and protection against abusive traffic. The supplied price points do not establish which of these services are included. Treat each as a separate line item when a host lists it as an add-on, and confirm whether a restore consumes storage from your quota.

Renewal pricing
“From” prices and introductory offers can renew at a materially higher rate. The renewal example reported in comparison content was not confirmed on a provider page, so do not rely on a specific renewal number. Before checkout, record the normal recurring price, billing interval, currency, taxes and cancellation terms. A monthly plan that costs slightly more initially may be cheaper than a discounted term that renews unexpectedly.
Choosing a size by group and workload
Very small test group
A two- to four-player group may find an entry plan attractive for a short test, but the 5GB and 8GB examples are below the cited 16GB requirement. Monitor memory use and crash logs rather than assuming that a server that starts has enough headroom. If the world is intended to remain online, budget for a plan with at least 16GB instead of treating a trial tier as the final configuration.
Regular private world
A private community that plays regularly should prioritize 16GB RAM, four or more cores, SSD storage and a backup policy. The $21.99 16GB listing provides a concrete reference point, not a universal market price. Confirm the permitted player count and whether CPU resources are shared before treating that figure as your total monthly cost.

Large or 32-player world
Reports place 32-player hosting at about $20 to $85 per month. The spread is wide because providers may bundle different CPU allocations, storage, geographic regions, backup retention and support. Compare like-for-like memory and CPU resources; a low price with insufficient RAM is not equivalent to a higher-priced plan that can sustain the intended population.

Mods and future growth
Mods, monitoring tools and other server-side processes consume resources beyond the base game. The available evidence does not provide a fixed RAM surcharge for a particular mod list, so size by observed usage and keep upgrade options available. A host that allows a RAM upgrade without moving the world to a new address can reduce disruption as the community grows.

No verified hardware price, electricity rate or bandwidth figure was supplied for a self-hosted Palworld server, so there is no defensible single monthly total. The machine must still meet the 16GB RAM and four-core baseline, use an SSD where possible, and run a 64-bit version of Windows or Linux.

- Compatible with Wide Screens - To ensure compatibility with the dual monitor mount, your each monitor must meet three conditions at the same time: First, computer screens size range: 13 to 32 inches. Second, screen weight range: 4.4 to 19.8 lbs. Third, the back of the monitor screen must have VESA mounting holes with a pitch of 75x75mm or 100x100mm.
- Regarding the compatibility with desks - Your desk must meet three conditions at the same time: First, desk material: Only wooden desks are recommended, plastic or glass desks cannot be used. Second, desk thickness range: 0.59" - 3.54". Third, the bottom of the desk should not have any cross beams or panels, as this will interfere with installation. We recommend carefully checking that your desk and monitors meets all above conditions before purchasing.
- Dual C-Clamp Hold - Worried your dual monitors might wobble or slip? Our upgraded base uses a larger platform plus a dual C-clamp structure to lock the dual monitor arm firmly to your desk. Each arm safely keeps your screens steady while you type, click and game—no shaking, no sliding, just a clean and secure setup you can trust every day. It also provides Grommet Mounting installation choice, both options ensure stable and secure fixation for your 0.59" - 3.54" desk.
- Full-Motion Adjustment For Comfortable View - Pull the screen closer when you’re deep in a spreadsheet, push it back to watch videos, or rotate to portrait for coding — moving everything smoothly with just one hand. The monitor stand offers +85°/-50° tilt, ±90° swivel and 360° rotation. Raise your monitor up to 15.75″ to support a healthy sitting posture. Whether you’re working from home, gaming through the night, or switching between video calls and documents, getting the screens to your natural line of sight helps relieve neck, shoulder and back strain so you can stay focused longer with less fatigue.
- Keep Your Desk Organized: By lifting both screens off the desktop, this dual monitor stand opens up valuable space for your keyboard, notebook, docking station or a simple, clutter-free work area. Built-in cable management guides wires along the arms, keeping cords out of sight and out of the way. Enjoy a tidy, modern workstation that looks as good as it feels to use.
Use this calculation for an honest comparison:
Monthly self-hosting cost = hardware purchase price ÷ expected months of use + electricity + incremental bandwidth + replacement or backup costs.
Then compare that result with the roughly $10 to $20 monthly rental tier often considered for a small group. The comparison is meaningful only when you include the value of your own time, a stable internet connection, local network configuration and the risk of downtime. A spare computer can make the cash outlay small, but its power draw, disk reliability and upload capacity still determine whether it is economical.
- Hardware: install at least 16GB of RAM and use four or more CPU cores; 32GB gives more room for a larger population.
- Operating system: use 64-bit Windows or 64-bit Linux.
- Disk: prefer an SSD and reserve capacity beyond the approximately 12GB–15GB installation.
- Network: plan for the default UDP port 8211 and verify that your router and firewall can forward and permit it.
- Continuity: arrange independent backups so a failed local disk does not destroy the only copy of the world.
Installing a dedicated server
The dedicated server is distributed through Steam’s tools catalog or through SteamCMD. Interface labels can change, but the practical sequence is:
- Prepare the machine. Confirm 64-bit Windows or Linux, at least 16GB RAM, four or more cores, SSD storage and enough free space for the installation plus saves and backups.
- Choose an installation method. In the Steam client, open the Library and enable the Tools filter, then locate the Palworld dedicated-server tool. Alternatively, install it with SteamCMD. The App ID 2394010 has been reported in search summaries but was not independently checked here, so verify the current ID in Steam’s documentation before automating a command.
- Install and start once. Launch the server so it creates its configuration and save directories, then stop it cleanly before editing settings or copying a world.
- Allow network traffic. Permit UDP 8211 in the host firewall and forward that port on the router if players connect from outside your local network. Use a different port only after confirming the corresponding configuration and firewall rule.
- Set access controls. Configure the server name, password and administrator settings before sharing the address. Keep the password out of public posts if the world is private.
- Test with one remote player. Confirm that the player can connect, that saves persist after a restart and that the server remains within its memory and CPU limits.
- Automate maintenance. Schedule restarts and backups appropriate to your play pattern, and test restoring a backup before you need it.
If a hosted control panel performs these tasks for you, its convenience is part of the rental price. If you self-host, you supply the same setup, patching, firewall and backup work yourself.
Questions to ask before paying
- Is the quoted price promotional, and what is the recurring renewal price?
- How much RAM is guaranteed, and is it dedicated or shared?
- How many CPU cores are included, and are they dedicated?
- What player limit applies to this exact configuration?
- Is storage SSD-based, and how much remains after the operating system?
- Are backups automatic, how long are they retained, and can you restore them yourself?
- Which data-center region is included, and is moving regions charged?
- Are taxes, setup fees, additional ports or support charges added at checkout?
- Can you upgrade RAM or CPU without deleting the world or changing its address?
- What happens to the files and saves when the subscription is cancelled?
Bottom-line decision
Use the $3–$13 range as the cost of entry-level advertising for a small group, not as proof that every plan in that range is suitable. The 5GB and 8GB examples sit below the 16GB requirement summarized by third-party guides, while the 16GB listing at $21.99 is a more relevant baseline for a dependable private world. For a full 32-player server, plan within the reported $20–$85 monthly range and compare the actual memory, CPU, storage and support included. Self-hosting can beat rent only after you price hardware amortization, electricity, bandwidth, backups and your own maintenance time.
