Ubisoft provides a support route for Siege ban appeals; for a permanent Ubisoft account lock, its instructions ask you to identify the account and explain why you are appealing. Ubisoft’s Terms of Use say sanctions can be submitted for human review, but do not promise a reversal or set a response deadline.
First identify what was sanctioned
Read the sanction notice carefully before submitting anything. A Siege in-game ban and a Ubisoft account lock are different actions, and the procedure documented for a permanent Ubisoft account lock should not automatically be treated as the complete procedure for every permanent game-only ban.

How to submit an appeal
- Open Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege Support page. Use the support contact route and select the ban appeal or Player Reporting and Sanctions category. For account-related matters, use Ubisoft’s online support form: Rainbow Six Siege Support.
- Identify the sanctioned account. For a permanent Ubisoft account lock, provide the Ubisoft account username requested in Ubisoft’s appeal guidance.
- State clearly that you are appealing. Explain the specific factual reason you believe the sanction was mistaken. Avoid vague claims or speculation.
- Give relevant context. Include a concise timeline and any records you actually have that relate to the notice. Do not claim that material was reviewed or verified if it was not.
- Answer Ubisoft’s requests. Ubisoft warns that an appeal may be denied if requested information is missing.
- Keep contact respectful and focused. Ubisoft says repeated or abusive contacts do not help, and it may ignore an appeal sent after a final review.
Ubisoft says the account holder is responsible for account behavior and that sharing Ubisoft credentials violates its Terms of Use. If you suspect your account was compromised, describe the circumstances accurately; account sharing is not presented as a guaranteed defense.
What Ubisoft says about review and sanctions
Article 7.6 of Ubisoft’s Terms of Use, version 5.0, says: “These can be appealed and submitted to human review by contacting our customer support at: https://ubisoft.com/help.” This establishes a route to request human review, not a promise of a favorable decision or a published response time.

Ubisoft’s Player Protection Core Rules, dated 31 July 2026, say violations can lead to temporary restrictions or bans, permanent bans from online play, or permanent revocation of game access. Listed conduct includes using an account the player did not create or letting others access theirs, false account information to evade restrictions, manipulating the in-game economy, unauthorized transactions, and disruptive or abusive behavior. Ubisoft says sanctions can be applied individually or stacked; actions outside a match can also lead to sanctions if they affect matches, other accounts, or enforcement systems.
The same rules state: “Permanent sanctions mean exactly what they say, your access is gone, forever.” That is Ubisoft’s description of the consequence, not a substitute for contacting support if you believe the decision was made in error.

Use Ubisoft’s official channel
Ubisoft’s Official Account & Game Support page says account-related support is handled through its online form; Discord and X cannot provide account-related support. Do not rely on an old FAQ as the current detailed appeal procedure: Ubisoft’s Cheating & Banning FAQ dates to 2016.
