For a Twitch Drop, meet the campaign requirement and claim it on Twitch—through the claim prompt or your Drops Inventory. For a Channel Points bonus, click its claim notification in chat; some point awards are automatic. If a claimed Drop never reaches your game, check the linked account or redemption instructions, then contact the game developer or campaign partner.
First, identify the reward

How to claim a Twitch Drop
- Check the campaign requirement. Sign in to Twitch and review the campaign details. Requirements vary and may include watching participating live streams or completing another stated action. Track your progress in Drops Inventory or the Drops & More panel.
- Claim the completed reward on Twitch. When it is ready, select the claim prompt in chat or open Drops Inventory and use its claim control. If you missed the prompt, the inventory is the place to check.
- Check the deadline. Twitch’s general help guide says an unclaimed Drop can be claimed from Drops Inventory for up to seven days (168 hours) after the campaign ends. Check the specific campaign terms as well, since they may set their own conditions. See Twitch’s Drops guide.
- Complete any delivery step. Many Drops are sent to a connected game account; some campaigns instead provide a code that must be redeemed through a partner. Follow the campaign’s instructions for the particular reward. Twitch’s code-based Drops guide covers partner redemption.
If a claimed Drop is missing from your game
- Confirm in Drops Inventory that Twitch marks the reward as claimed.
- Check that Twitch is linked to the game account where you expect the item. If you use multiple accounts, verify that the intended one is connected.
- If the reward is a code, redeem it using the named partner’s instructions rather than waiting for automatic delivery.
- If Twitch shows the Drop as claimed but the item or code has not arrived, contact the game developer or promotional partner. Twitch distinguishes earning and claiming on its platform from final delivery by the developer or partner; delivery timing depends on the campaign, so there is no single guaranteed arrival schedule.
How to claim a Channel Points bonus
When a bonus is offered as a notification in chat, click that notification to claim it, then check the points balance for that channel. Twitch says some awards are automatic: following a channel and participating in a Raid can award points without the same notification claim step. The viewer instructions are in Twitch’s Channel Points guide for viewers.
Points do not transfer between channels. A reward redemption can also be unavailable if the streamer’s redemption limit has been reached, you have already used the per-user limit, or a timer has not expired. Streamers set their rewards and point costs; check the reward’s details in that channel. More information is in Twitch’s Channel Points FAQ.

What about other Twitch reward events?
Some promotions use their own rules and may be limited tests rather than ongoing rewards. Twitch’s Weekly Rewards page describes a test that ran until July 26, 2026, in which selected viewers could earn points and a badge by visiting the same channel on three different days in a week. As of October 8, 2026, that page does not establish that the test has restarted or been replaced; check the event’s current terms before relying on it.
