Build Mityl’s squad around Hydro setup and Hologram pressure. The current team guide recommends Mityl, OTs-14, Liushih, Springfield, and Florence; its more damage-focused Hydro Assault option replaces Florence with Tololo. Treat both as starting lineups, then adjust for your roster and the mission.
What Mityl brings to a squad
Mityl is an Elite Hydro Sentinel and summon damage dealer. Her Squirrel Hologram can copy eligible enemies or create a Self Hologram. Void Fitting and Air Dash help spread Hydro tiles and reposition, while her Holograms trigger Aligned Resonance at the end of the allied turn. Hydro damage and Tideway tiles also support her Confectance Index generation.

In practice, the team’s defining setup is to establish Hydro tiles and use Holograms to sustain pressure and activate Aligned Resonance. Air Dash gives Mityl a repositioning tool as that setup develops. The guide describes these interactions but does not provide a verified turn-by-turn rotation or comparative damage testing, so there is no sourced fixed sequence to follow.

Which Mityl team should you use?
The September 30, 2026 guide, updated October 4, recommends these five-unit compositions:

Choose the recommended Hydro team for the guide’s standard lineup
Use Florence in the recommended composition if you own her and want to follow the guide’s named team. The source gives this as its recommended lineup, but does not explain how it performs across particular encounter types or establish Florence as mandatory.
Choose Hydro Assault for the damage-focused alternative
Hydro Assault retains Liushih, Springfield, and OTs-14 while swapping Florence for Tololo. The guide explicitly frames this as the more damage-focused option, citing Tololo’s single-target burst. It does not provide encounter-specific results proving that this team outperforms the recommended lineup in a given stage.

Adapt for your roster and server
These are five-unit recommendations, not a requirement to delay using Mityl until every named character is available. Choose among the listed options based on who you own and can access in your region. Current regional banner availability is not established by the sources cited here. Sentinel characters are damage dealers, while Support characters commonly provide healing and buffs, but the Mityl guide does not prescribe substitutions or say which defensive or sustain unit a particular mission requires.

The same guide recommends the following priorities and equipment for general content. These are the guide author’s build recommendations, not independently tested best-in-slot findings.
- Stat priorities: Attack Boost, Attack, Crit Rate, and Crit Damage.
- Attachments: Summon Boost, Close Assault, and Phase Strike.
- Fixed Key set: Tearjerker Performance, Hundred Round Duet, and Indistinguishable. The guide associates them with Emotional Contamination, an additional Hologram summon, and increased damage on Hydro tiles.
- Common Key suggestion: Mitylrat Little.
Which weapon does Mityl use?
The sources use different names in different contexts. IOP Wiki’s character record associates Mityl with the P90 (Project 9.0) and the SMG weapon type. The build guide names Squirrel Nova as her signature weapon, describing it as improving damage for Mityl and Physical Summons, with additional benefits against enemies on Hydro tiles. The guide lists Juggernaut, Svarog, and the Rare-tier P90 as alternatives.

For a build choice, use the build guide’s named weapon recommendations; the character record’s P90 association is a weapon-type/name detail, not a claim that the weapon is the best option. These references concern in-game equipment.
How much should you invest in Mityl?
The guide says Mityl can perform her core Hydro-enabling role at V0. It identifies V1 as its best early upgrade, with V3 and V4 as further upgrade points and V6 as a full-investment capstone. That is the guide author’s investment assessment, not a performance guarantee or a prerequisite for a functional team.
