You do not need a roster of limited or top-ranked Dolls to build a capable Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium team. Start with one damage dealer you can invest in, then add Dolls whose Phase, skills, or support roles help that carry—and adjust for the stage’s enemies and objective. For a practical starting core, current Global community guides point to Qiongjiu and Tololo, with Sabrina or Centaureissi and an available SR filling out the support and damage needs.
Start with a carry and the Dolls that make it work
A strong squad is a package of complementary roles, not a collection of five individually high-ranked portraits. Pick a primary damage dealer you already own and can build; then look for a support or enabler that strengthens its attacks, Phase, or survivability. Class labels can help you sort the roster: Sentinels generally deal damage, Bulwarks lean toward frontline defense, Vanguards bring mobility or secondary damage, and Supports provide healing, buffs, or other utility. Treat these as role clues, not substitutes for checking what a Doll’s kit actually does. Prydwen’s class and progression guide outlines the class roles; its displayed update date is November 30, 2024, so consult the in-game descriptions for current details.

An accessible starting core
The current Global team guide prioritizes Qiongjiu and Tololo as standard-pool starting priorities and describes Sabrina and Mosin-Nagant as usable options. Its beginner recommendation is Qiongjiu + Tololo + Sabrina or Centaureissi, with an available SR to round out the squad. Choose between Sabrina and Centaureissi according to what you need from the encounter rather than treating either as mandatory. The guide also names Qiongjiu + Sharkry + Centaureissi as an accessible Burn team. These are community recommendations, not an official developer ranking. See the current team-composition guide and beginner Doll priorities.
Use Phase synergy as a guide, not a rule
When your roster allows it, build around a shared Phase so the carry and enablers can work toward the same damage plan. The current composition guide groups teams around Corrosion, Electric, Freeze, Hydro, and Burn. Its budget routes show how to start with the Dolls you have instead of waiting for every limited unit.

- A Kotobukiya Japanese import
- From Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium comes a scale figure of Vector in her bunny outfit
- Enjoy the intricate details of her submachine gun, knives, pouches, bunny outfit, and the various textures seen throughout the figure
- A bunny-ear headband not seen in-game is included to further enhance her bunny silhouette
- Measures approximately 10.6" tall
| Team core | Premium reference in the guide | Accessible route or swap |
|---|---|---|
| Corrosion | Klukai with support and enablers | Nemesis is a Corrosion option; Sabrina can help when survival is the concern. |
| Electric | Leva or Lenna with setup | Mosin-Nagant can fill the carry role until you have a limited Electric carry. |
| Freeze | Makiatto with Freeze utility | Lotta plus a shielder is a budget route without Makiatto. |
| Hydro | Springfield support with Tololo damage | Tololo is the standard-pool damage option; Centaureissi or Sabrina can address survival needs. |
| Burn | Qiongjiu with Vector as an engine or enabler | Qiongjiu + Sharkry + Centaureissi is an accessible core; Vector is an upgrade, not an entry requirement. |
The table reflects the Global team guide’s snapshot, describing late-August 2026 content and updated September 5, 2026. It is not a guarantee that every stage requires a single-Phase team. The guide also describes Suomi as flexible rather than a prerequisite for Electric or Burn, and notes that Qiongjiu can flex into teams that benefit from frequent attacks. Recheck recommendations after major patches. The composition guide identifies itself as an unofficial fan resource; it is not a developer balance ranking.
Invest in a finished core before spreading resources
A partially built top-tier Doll can contribute less than a lower-rank Doll whose build is complete. Current community advice treats V0 as practical and recommends finishing one carry and one support before diverting resources to another limited carry. That is a roster-building recommendation, not a guarantee that every unit performs equally at every investment level.

- A Kotobukiya Japanese import
- From Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium comes a figure of Springfield
- Her pose is the definition of grace and elegance—as if she's waltzing right out of a ballroom.
- The vivid blue dress is finished with sharply defined folds and slightly tone-shifted pearlescent paint
- Graceful from every angle, she makes a standout addition to any Commander’s collection
- Choose the carry you can use now. Consider owned Dolls, the Phase and role you need, and whether you can supply a fitting weapon and supporting units.
- Build its support alongside it. Prioritize a support or enabler that improves the carry’s damage plan or helps the squad survive the assignment.
- Complete the build in useful layers. The current best-Dolls guide’s sequence is to level to the current Commander cap, unlock Neural Expansion as needed, equip a matching weapon, improve attachments, and select Neural Helix Keys that support the Doll’s actual rotation.
- Broaden only after the core is functional. A second partially equipped carry is not automatically more useful than a finished first carry and support.
These are investment priorities from a community guide, not mandatory game rules. The beginner and investment recommendations were updated September 6, 2026.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteWin more by using cover and breaking Stability
When a team underperforms, the answer may be positioning or weakness matching rather than another high-tier Doll. Stability provides protection, especially while a unit is covered; when Stability reaches zero, that protection is lost and the target becomes more vulnerable. Attacks that exploit an enemy’s Phase or weapon weakness can improve damage and add pressure to Stability.

- An import from Phat
- From the popular mobile game
- ST AR-15 has been recreated in a calm and collected pose
- Based on a special illustration as well as supervised by character designer LIN+
- Figure base features a burned Griffin & Kryuger flag
- Use cover deliberately. Position units so they benefit from cover when possible, and avoid exposing a vulnerable unit just to take an ordinary shot.
- Look for ways around cover. Flanking, melee, qualifying area attacks, and high-ground attacks can change how cover applies.
- Exploit the enemy’s weakness. Check the stage and enemy information, then favor attacks that match the relevant Phase or weapon weakness.
- Reassess a protected boss. If damage is poor, try better positioning or a weakness-matched lineup that can break Stability before replacing a core Doll.
For these mechanics, see the current cover, Stability, and tiles guide. Prydwen’s combat overview also discusses turn structure and weakness mechanics.

One favorite squad does not have to solve every map. Use the most complete core you have for story or event stages, then make a targeted swap when a boss, survival check, or wave-clear objective calls for something different.

- From the strategic simulation game "Dolls Front Line" for smartphones, the Vector, a submachine gun tactical doll is now available in 1/7
- The calming expression of the enemy has been reproduced in details such as heavy firearms and magazines. The perfect balance between a cute outfit
- Make sure you have a welcome addition to this item filled with charm that you can't afford from Vector

- Boss or Platoon encounter: Match the enemy’s Phase weakness where your roster allows it; the guide cautions against forcing a preferred team into a poor matchup.
- Survival is the problem: Consider a shielder or support swap, or a more defensive route, rather than adding damage without addressing why units are falling.
- Timed waves are the problem: Favor the available damage core that clears efficiently for that stage.
- Your roster lacks a recommended limited Doll: Use the budget route for the relevant Phase and invest in the units you already have.
Compare options by matchup, carry investment, enabler fit, survival, build cost, and objective tempo. A team that is excellent against one boss may not be the right choice for a survival stage or a wave-clear assignment.

The character and team suggestions here reflect unofficial Global community guides updated September 5–6, 2026, with the team-composition page describing late-August 2026 content. Doll kits, banners, and balance can change, so treat the named cores as a dated starting point rather than permanent rankings.
