The word “support” can mean a broad team role or the specific Action Support combat mechanic in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium. The game’s combat guide describes Action Support as a buff that lets a unit assist friendly attacks or counterattack when an ally takes damage, subject to range. That mechanic does not make every unit whose kit helps a team a healer or conventional support.
