Region and language matter. Nintendo’s guidance says, “Look and confirm that the region and language of the game you are purchasing is the correct region and language.” A North American NTSC-U cartridge, a European PAL release and a Japanese copy can differ in compatibility, text and collecting value even when the title is the same. eBay for item-level photos and buyer protection
eBay can be the most transparent route when the seller photographs the exact cartridge and answers questions in the platform messages.
