To earn A Prize Held High, capture a Curioshell Crab carrying an Ancient Wyvern Coin with your Capture Net. Start your search in Windward Plains area 13, near the Oasis cave, but treat that as a reported search spot—not a guaranteed spawn.

Where to search in Windward Plains
Start near the Oasis cave in area 13
Head to Windward Plains area 13 and check the cave near the Oasis. Guides report finding the coin-bearing crab there, making it a practical first place to look.

Check other reported zones if it is not there
Another reported route also names Windward Plains zones 13 and 6. These are search leads, not confirmed fixed spawn points: the available location reports do not establish a guaranteed spawn, a specific respawn interval, or that the crab will appear in the same place on every visit.

How to capture the Curioshell Crab
- As you approach the reported area, watch for Alma’s nearby-creature cue and scan around you for a Curioshell Crab carrying the coin.
- Equip or ready the Capture Net and aim at the crab as soon as you spot it.
- Fire the net promptly. The creature may flee or disappear, so avoid waiting once you have a clear shot.
- Check that the capture registers for A Prize Held High.
What the Ancient Wyvern Coin is used for
Ancient Wyvern Coins are also an in-game trading item. Gawdygog, at the Wudwud Hideout in the Scarlet Forest, is reported as a trader who accepts them. That trade use is separate from capturing the coin-bearing crab for the achievement.
