To catch all the saltwater fish in Sneaky Sasquatch, use the habitat and timing clues in the checklist below, then return each catch to the Marina to register it in the Fishing Guide. The 24-entry list is community-maintained; RAC7’s official support page confirms the Marina turn-in step, but does not verify every listed location or condition.
Saltwater fish checklist: locations and conditions
These habitat and timing clues come from the community-maintained Sneaky Sasquatch Fish reference. Treat them as search leads rather than official confirmation of current-version mechanics.

A practical way to search
- Check your Fishing Guide. Note which saltwater entries are missing so you can focus on those rather than repeating catches you have already registered.
- Group searches by area. Work through waters around the Island and the Marina, then search the Northern Ocean, followed by the Southern Ocean. This grouping organizes the reference’s habitat clues; it is not a tested fastest route.
- Follow any special clue. Search for Sardine on a rainy day, Ratfish and the listed nighttime species at night, and Tuna and Sablefish in the Southern Ocean during the day. For fish described as deep-water catches, target deeper areas.
- Use equipment where it applies. The reference says large fish require a Pro Fishing Rod, not that every saltwater fish does. It also suggests the Fish Finder as a way to help locate a needed catch.
- Return the fish to the Marina. RAC7’s support FAQ says: “You have to return the fish to the fishermen, fresh water to the east side of the lake, and salt water to the Marina.” That turn-in is what checks saltwater catches off in the book.
What the checklist can and cannot confirm
The community fish reference provides a location or condition for each of its 24 saltwater entries. RAC7’s support FAQ independently confirms where saltwater fish must be returned, but it does not confirm the species-by-species clues. A 2020 gameplay video also describes showing all 24 saltwater fish, but its date does not establish that every mechanic remains unchanged.
